  1. No, my association was purely through a long search for a replacement terrier of a specific type around 10yrs ago. DH put me onto one or two people at that time & “J” had what I was looking for about 18mth later if memory serves me right & I rarely dig to other peoples terriers. Mack i remember those pics on the old Patt site, that must be some time ago, i feel old
  2. but if they're hunting through big brush piles they'll need to find first. i'd think he has it right, or maybe just a big Patt would do just as well?
  3. would have thought nose on a terrier would be better?
  4. stig and chris hickling have mentioned that name before,
  5. A great show, run by good hunting people. Well worth a visit. Hope it goes well.

  11. Was having this conversation the other day................Chelseas average attendance since Abramovich has been 41k......................in the early 90,s when they finished mid table every year it was 18k !!...........You go figure it crowds dropped off for most clubs 80s 90s - think even Man Utd averaged 36k one year, here's the all time averages anyway, hope it helps http://forums.electronicarts.co.uk/real-football/373861-all-time-english-league-attendance-records.html success brings the crowds no doubt, but to say we had no support pre Abramovich is a bit silly. Gnash the
  12. yeah Chelsea had no support pre Abramovich, didn't take large away followings anywhere, their record attendance probably unimpressive.........................keep tellin yourself that
  13. did you run them with a pack then?
  14. A.Simpson ? not heard of that one, any good?
  15. some lads will use hound x on the hill, daytime work, some will speak but suppose it's less of a problem if they do open up in that situation
  16. good point but its those same wankers that seem attracted to bull x,
  17. question then, has the bull x and its abilities had a negative side affect on digging?
  18. Leonards people pulled out of a fight with Hearns very early in their careers ('78 I think)-too risky i think all four had their moments within that era when they were unbeatable, thats what made it such an interesting time. like they say , styles make fights and they all had their distinct styles.
  19. very nice, got it all on permission yet?
  20. amazing to think Tommy went from Welter all the way to light heavy and even then he was knocking people out! Angelo Dundee conceded "if Hearns had balance, he'd beat them all" - Loved the way he went all out every fight, no half measures. Think Leonard was a far cagier fighter especially late on. I think he was little fortunate in the win over Hagler and the drawn rematch with Hearns - also felt Leonard waited till Hagler was slowing up (see Mugabi fight) before taking his chance. Great fighter but my least favourite of the '4 kings' back then most lads knew all the world champs at each
  21. i think he broke it in the first round, when he rocked Hagler with a right? Credit to Hearns, he never brings this up as an excuse for losing. if you like this era I can recommend a book call "Four Kings", really good read. Bezza, are you sure it was on live? I recall it being midweek and waking up early and listening to the radio to find out who won, it was shown on ITV that night in the UK? BTW the old Reg Gutteridge/Jim Watt commentaries were great.
