    this is one of the effects of making it illegal, risks are higher, thus making ppl drive fields, thus making ppl go to extremes to try and escape! even if it means knocking someone over in order to evade capture, losing your vehicle, jail, fines losing your stock, this is what the anti hunting law is creating, if it was still legal might have ended in a different scenario,at the worst a little roll about with the farmer, but because of the risk of above mentioned punishments the lads werent staying about, obviously, !!!

    just been messing with the torch again john (big boys big toys) and i find it automatically sets back to high beam (1st setting, and the one youll use most in the field) after being left off for approx 5 secs ( i was counting) the memory thing doesnt work i was leaving it long enough for it too reset itself before switching it back on so i thought it remembered so the last post i put is wrong if your thumbs fast enough you can quickly skip through modes without actually *clicking* the button fully on or off just by pushing it lightly, ill adjust to it

    It may have a memory. Try selecting the light level you want to use, when you're switching it off hold the clicky button down for say 10 seconds (I'm being very conservative, 5 would probably do), then try turning it on as normal again and see does it "remember" that light level. alright john, i tried that it does "remember" the mode thanks for that pal was gunna buy a simple on/off cree,

    ive just bought this cree http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/170915942900?var=470203091558&ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1497.l2649 after reading about them on here, nice solid sturdy torch,took it out last night was quite a light night but still impressed with this little torches power, like gareth daniel said, bit of messing about clicking through modes, i found out to click through modes you dont have to "click" the button but jus keep pressing it lightly to switch modes so other than that well impressed, think ill buy the 1 what troter has save the messing about gettin the correct

    depends how you look at things really, i dont think the working lines will gain any benefit from these pet/show dogs chart, but i think a man of your knowledge knows were to get his dogs from but i suppose it will help the dogs that are getting passed around pillar to post find a decent permanent home even it only be for a pet, in the 's there was a lurcher on every corner round my estate now all you see are all shapes n sizes of staffs!
