      worth a try :-)

  2. left is a front right is a rear, some different brands look slightly different but they are all pritty much like that ATB Adam
  3. no they are separate, not very expensive Just go in any gun shop and ask for a front sling stud / bipod stud they should know what you need ATB Adam
  4. The Stud you fit just needs to the the right distance from the end of the stock so the body of the bipod dosnt poke out over the end, very easy to do. Just things to remember are measure twice to make sure you have the correct distance, use a very small drill to start with to make the pilot hole then use the correct size drill after (the first drill stops the larger drill splitting the wood) Oh and take the stock off the rifle when you do it Its not a complex or hard job just take your time with it ATB Adam Edit: Buy the right stud too the rear studs are longer the fr
  5. If your drilling make sure you measure twice and drill a pilot hole first so you dont split the stock ATB Adam
  6. I too use a Deben Tilt Bi-pod, very nice and no problems, 3-9inch with the swivel feet etc. very sturdy and gives a good shooting rest. however if i were to do it again i would go with a non tilt - just personal preference ATB Adam
  7. Jeez darryl! how quick do you turn them arround !!! i havent even finished sanding yet and you have done a full rifle Can you PM me what to do when you re-blue the barrel and metal parts as thats one area i dont want to just jump into doing without some guidance ATB Adam
  8. Dont air arms have a similar sort of set up with the fill on the front of the cylinder? ATB Adam
  9. So when you were turned away from those places did you then contact A&M? And tell him what had happened? If so what was his reply?. I have seen a few bottles with the quick fill in the bottom, not heard of any exploding though ATB Adam
  10. Where has all this .177 is less effected by wind come from? I would say on average its x2 the windage than a .22 - a 1/2mildot .22 wind would easy be a 1 milldot .177 wind if not more Anyone who has ever shot a .177 in the slightest breeze knows it gets blown a mile! (not an issue you just give more windage when taking shots) ATB Adam
  11. I dont want to make it louder rob haha! my shroud is a 'tactical' shroud.. when i got the rifle it had been to daystate for some work, and i got a bit of paper saying that they had removed the original shroud - fitted a tactical one and now the SWP of my rifle is 190bar (i have a nice daystate sticker on the side to remind me) now in all honesty i dont have any idea if that makes it quieter as i didnt own the gun before the work was done. I like the sound of the PTFE washers etc i need some of that attention on my ranger ATB Adam
  12. Hey Si how come you missed my name off? dont worry i have added it ATB Adam
  13. The only noticable noise comming from my rifle now is from the body so i can only think its the working mechanism and valve the 'buisness end' i dont think can get any quieter. All the theoben guys get titanium this and that fitted - but there dosnt seem to be anything for daystates I had a daystate airstream silencer either MK4 or Mk5 i cant remember, didnt like it anyway and it marked my barrel shroud when taking it on / off I havent had a full hunting trip with the daystate though after fitting the X3 so ill give it a whirl Vs the rabbits as ive got a new permission to shoot o
  14. But surely any can get past 2 rozzers! (not a police one but close enough!) ATB Adam
  15. You better bring MY darts trophy mr , this time I'm going first you robbing git . I'm still bitter and twisted about that comp but you could never tell hey? Good job I'm not competitive . Bloody fly boy LOL . Si. No i didnt notice you were a competative man Si But dont worry Si you will have a chance to get your hands on the trophy.... As you hand it back to me at the awards presentation ! Roger dont worry all the banter is in good taste but as for leaving my gun with two people i think thats just silly, we can just handcuff davy to a tree so he cant change them
  16. Im on leave! Get in! Stick my name down ill be there .. with darts trophy in hand ATB Adam Edit: Ill be keeping a very close eye on my turrets on this meet!
  17. Im sorry but all that about the 177 not getting effected as much by the wind is rubbish, 177 gets blown off by the slightest breeze! This discussion has been had many many many times before, 177 v 22, longer range vs knockdown power etc At the end of the day its what you like and what feels right to you, the rifle should be an extension of yourself and likewise the pellet that is fired out. My prefered calibre is 177, however i do dabble with the .22 and i like it. Shoot them both and go with what feels right to you, aslong as your happy with it you will be rewarded in the fiel
  18. Can still watch it if you have a youtube account There are some morons out there, you know the sort, those who take an injured magpie to the vets etc who think its inhumane to shoot animals .. Although they are probably all up for putting poison down to clear out rats or gassing the rabbits.. and are munching on their battery farmed chickens which have been gassed before being processed! Cant wait for them to put anti's on the general licence, do you think they will let us go at them with sub12? (Before anyone goes crazy the above line is a joke and i do not intend to shoot
  19. Well now i need to find out how to quiet the action down on my daystate as no noise comes out the barrel end, its all hammer noise at the minute ATB Adam
  20.  just sprayed my cup of tea out my nose when i saw that pic! Hummm davy silent and deadly? ATB Adam
  21. Great shooting guys, I didnt even recognise davy without his tash ATB Adam
