    aslong as you only shoot pests on general licence and they are within the boundries of your permission you can shoot them Just be aware of the neighbours, some might take offence to you shooting, especially if they are bird lovers ATB Adam

    Depends on how far im shooting and with which calibre, .177 I use 10 mostly and 5 for upclose and personal .22 I use 2.5, 5 or 10 depending on how far the shot is I always double / half the mag so i can calculate my holds. ATB Adam

    For all the ones worried about people laughing at their shooting or needing a massive amount of practice before you go.. Dont worry yourselves AT ALL!     Went out last night with tmy Air ranger and a friend with his .17hmr, 22 S/A rimmy and mac2 (im doing more fac shooting as i want my fac) and i shot 3 rabbits and a pigeon with the ranger on one of the permissions we visited without scaring the rest away so im very happy now with how quiet the rifle is, not so worried about it getting any quieter anymore ... i then had a go on the .22 semi auto and blasted the crap out of the rabbits! now that was fun ended up with 12 rabbits and a pigeon so 1/4 bag down to the air rifle very happy with how it held up ATB Adam

I fully respect the fact you don't want people injured by shoddy workmanship however the bottle that ruptured by your own admission was not an A&M Custom gunsmiths one, and so far none of them have been. Unfortunately i think there has been some scaremongery by the gun club and gunsmiths that saw your QF bottle yes the best fittings QF did rupture in your thread, however as the thread says only 6 were made and most failed
