    i think if i had to have one just for deer pre ban it would have to be a deerhound x Saluki x for me, but i have never had a deerhound x, i just stick to what i know i think the saluki would probably be a better choice if i am honest turn it into a bit of an all rounder..... A lot of people dont like them, but put the time in, and they are hard to beat, and never revert to heavy handed tactics, or else you aint going nowhere Not having a go mate, but have you actualy owned a Saluki or Saluki X ?     You cant actually get anything that will get rid of a cough but you can give it benalyn to stop it from coughing as much and sooth it's throat.. If i were you i'd keep it well away from your other dogs.. Even if you rub him nd then rub another dog you can pass it on.. It should be better in 2 weeks anyway..

    Shredded paper all the way! Dosent cost anything! Whats the point in paying for beddin when you can jst use shredded paper? I find they can get mites easily from straw but they dont live in shredded paper!

    I could be wrong but it seems simple to me. If the farmer owns the footpath then he can have the cows on it if he wants but if he dosent own it then he cant? Seems common sense to me?

    I think digging is twice as fun without collars but it's safe to have a collar and locator with you anyway just in case.. I think it is a lot easier if there is a few people that know what their doing, if your on your own it takes longer.. Locators and collars ruin the fun of trying to find the dog.. I think maybe if you put the collar on the dog but didnt use the locator unless you couldnt find the dog without it would be a good idea?

    I have to say i prefer dogs myself but i didnt think people would make such a fuss about the whole thing! And i really dont get why people are complainin about the way dogs are always pissin? Whats wrong with a dog pissin for f**k sake? And if he's pissin so much that it's preventing him from hunting then he's obviosly not a great hunter and dosent love it.. They both seem to work the same to me but i might not have as much experience with it as some people as i never really thought about it!

    Could get the deben terrier finder mk3m.. A good bit cheaper than bellman and flint as far as i know!

    There very good terriers! Way better than big patterdales in my oppinion! I have two at the moment but havent got any pics.. If you can get a strong one theres nothing better.. Thats jst my personal oppinion before anyone starts gettin tick!
