    The broken ribs where the result of a cyling accident. I was training for an endurance ride on my bike...Lands end to john o groates in under 4 days...about 950 miles none stop but it all went wrong when i ended up over the handel bars of my road performance bike. I landed on the handel bars and broke 9 of the ribs on my right side and puncherd my right lung, this was 16 months ago and iv only just had the stabilization. Im hopeing to do it next August if all goes well. Iv been managing to swim between 1 and 3 miles a day and still cycle with the broken ribs but i doubt i would have managed t

    Nice rifle Keep at the maggies mate, i had the best part of 200 over spring and summer with the larsens and rifle..and there nothing wrong with trapping them all year round, you just get more during the warmer months. Good luck Marty

    Got yourself a few nice rabbit pies there fella..and a couple of well placed shots.! I tryed picking my rifle up yesterday but no chance of that yet, just had 9 ribs surgicaly stabalised with steel plates and clips. I cant even goto the gym :laugh: Atb Marty

    Same old same old.... Its easyer if you just join the army mate, no permission's needed there. It's a good time for moleing, you could give that a go before you go hound the local land owners for a place to weild your gun. How much shooting have you done.? No clubs round your way.? Marty

    Thank's lad's....I think the pellet thing is going to stick for sometime to come, but i can take it I never did get round to trying it though, maybe tomorrow or the next day even. I havnt touched the gun for a while now so its a good job im laid up....i think id be cleaning up at the meet comps oh yeah without cleaning and lubing the lead first aswell Good luck chap's and ladie's and lets hope the weather stays good for you all.     Hi fellas, well i had my op date changed from 6th september to 25th. The op seems to be a success but at the moment im laid up in bed at home with what i can only discribe as a 14"scare from my back around to my front and what feels like a scaffolding inside my chest. No chance of driving or dossing in a tent for me. Hope you enjoy your meet.....but it will have to be another time for me. Marty

    Nice one Marty, I hope to see you at the meet if your well enough. Si. Cheer's Si Been buisy with my new house the last few week and running the airgun section of our gun club so not getting time for the forum at the moment, I havnt even managed to get out with the rifle on my permission. All my traps have been lifted and put away aswell. Oh and a lazy polecat has managed take over my garden and garage and the missis has taken a likeing to smelly thing If any one knows of a lost polecat...its in my bloody Garage somewhere Marty

    Well my wait for my bionic ribs is almost over...Got my Op Date...September 6th Im getting fitted out with 6 BRAND SPANKING New surgical steel rib's..Cant wait Just bought a nice 850T grade carbon fiber road performance bike fitted with SRAM groupset, with handle bars designed by Mark Cavandish himself...Just for the occasion. Hope to be recoverd for the meet Marty

    We are both left handed so a hw100 wouldn't work Thum hold is Ambi sonny But the cocking lever is placed on the right hand side so would be awkward so for spending 600 pound I would like something feel comfortable shooting Oh...fair comment

    Ha ha, that was a picture my dad took of me with the HW100KT just before I shot a rabbit on the railway embankment opposite. The land dips quite low so you can only see my top half. Lovely little permission that one, only around 12 acres but has an abandoned railway track on one side and a golf course on the other.. plenty of rabbits Ahh lol, i see...Tell you what mate...thats an even better fence than in the first picture..Awsome bit of kit that mate Atb Marty
