  3. This bring back memorys for me, i knew an old poacher that went by the name of gypsy pete. I remember him showing me is rifle that was small enough to put under his coat, it was some kind of pump up under lever and he had a wooden mould for making bullet shaped pellets that where around the same size as a 22 bullet. He reused the same pellets after shooting with them. He just found the pellets in what ever he killed and remoulded them in his little wooden mould. Wish i knew what rifle it was, it was really old yet very handy.

  5. Hi.. i control vermin on the village golf course, at the bottom of the course i built a small hide from an old crate that was going to be burned with the rubbish. When i first built it i had a regular visitor that would come for a look around and he'd sit on my moderator for a while. I was quite happy to see him until on one visit he took a dump on my mod witch was met by a swift back hand, havnt seen him since. Iv got a vid on my phone of a little sparky killing a starling in a garden a month or so ago, id upload it if i knew how but im usless on these things. Marty.
  6. Im a bit strange with my kit no matter what it is, I wouldnt lend anything i own no matter how long iv known them. Im even reluctant to pass my rifle to someone when they want to look at it. Its still my responsability the very second it leaves my hand and if they drop it no sooner as iv past them it then i simply shouldnt have passed it to them. Thats the way i look at it anyway. It saves them the embarrasment of dropping it and the having to lie through there teeth and making an out and out fool of themselves, and it would save me that horrible sickly feeling i know i would get the second i
  7. Thanks for the warm welcome lads, iv been looking around the site its not bad. You know what they say.."Everyday is a School day". Marty
  8. Hi.. thanks for the welcome Davy, its an ok scope but not so good in low light conditions such as evenings especialy with being half mildot. All the same it does the job though. I see you got yourself a little collection there. Iv used the s410 in the past and i loved it but had a few minor problems with the bolt being a bit hard to cock and then it would work lose, i love the side cocking on my 100k it pritty much cocks its self and accuracy..well its outstanding. Think i paid £120 for the scope. Marty
  9. Hello.. just been told to have a look on this site as i might enjoy reading an odd post here and there. Iv been using air rifles quite a few years for vermin control, at the moment i use my HW100k .177 sporter with hawke varmint sf scope and harris bipod.. it does for what i use it for.. I also like playing around in the mud for sneaky little moles that cause themselves and land owner a right mischef. Regards.. Marty.
