Before spending £ on fees is there proof he owes you money, ie can you prove it, is it your word against his? You will need to write why he owes you the money and if he says never heard of you, never employed you or that you said you would work a week free then you will find it hard to convince a judge. The process is not a court it's just sitting round a table and all the judge is interested in is written facts, if you have anything to prove he said he would pay you £200 go for it, if you don't then you may be throwing away more money. I've used the court a few times and mostly the threa

There is a long story to this dog, it has been stolen as they think it's a trained gun dog, it's been bought to get it away from the scum offering it. Now they are seeking the person it was stolen from. Phill

Update: Gunshop phoned today there were a few issues, Mounts, he said they were ok but not the best and not seated very well, so he has swapped them over. The tape had got pushed under the barrel and he has cut it back. There was also a bit of twig stuck between the barrel and stock as well. Mod cleaned no damage and also I asked about the crown and no damage. I'm going to collect and re zero tomorrow fingers crossed it's ok if not scope going back

Hi cc I can't say as I leave it in hands of experts, the camo tape was on the stock and over the years it's got wedged between the barrel and the stock. He suggested me taking it away and try without mod but I only work in the summer and this week is really busy so I've left it with them. My cleaning regime mm well that's not the best, I shoot 4 days a week in winter and average 10 shots a week with the rifle and if it doesn't get wet it's once a fortnight if it's lucky, the mod is taken off at that point re greased and put back on. Yes hands up I don't take it off as much as I

I took it in today and the gun shop said it could be a number of issues, but he doubts it will be the scope, he said they have sold many many z6i and never had one back. He said it could be the rails but doubts it as it has been fine, I have camo tape on the stock he said the barrel should float and the tape won't help, but he thinks looking at black around the moderator the bullet could be clipping the mod on exit. He is going to clean, remove tape, ensure the gun is all ok and I will try again. Cheers for all your suggestions but I'm just glad this is happening now, I would be well stu

Hey Kev you don't want me to mention missing foxes do you??.

For many yrs I had a lower priced scope up to 2 yrs ago when I bought the 2nd gen Swarovski z6i BT all has been well up to 3 weeks ago when I had a call from a land owner who had a rogue fox he wanted rid of, 6 am the following morning I was there and after watching said fox for 10 mins at a range I've been taken many a deer about 120 yds I took a shot and the fox ran towards and across the field and stopped 100 yds looking around. I took another shot and he ran off again. Yesterday in the middle of a field I set up a large bit of ply and stood it up with a 1 inch dot in the middle and

Try a few tricks rather than use the recall so much try the stop more often, so at your side one blow she sits great, so in the field let her get 15 ft and blow the stop and make sure you get it, same rules if she does go to her take her by the collar and put her where she was when you blew and blow again don't speak to her, go back to where you were and recall. Do this let her get further and further and blow. When you recall and she comes to you make a fuss. The stop whistle is hard to master when hunting or chasing and a rabbit pen is the best place. My cocker does it the springer

Do you have many oak trees around your way?

Road work, start by short journeys build it up to a mile or so, as above for healing another trick is salt water thrown on floor in kennel or if you have somewhere to put it if not chuck it on the carpet, will sting but do a lot of good. Also kill any weeds in the garden at same time. Nettles are a bugg3r this time of yr.

Actually that's a good idea when the wife moans you have a setting for that. 2 birds one shot sort of thing

Then the foundations are laid, the fact she is not a fantastic worker doesn't matter you can improve on that in time. the nervousness is probably down to a lot of shouting in her previous house. good luck and enjoy keep us informed how she is going.

here we go again a dog does something which is no considered the norm and out come the shock collars. I can believe a game keeper uses them, they need results and need them quick, its a natural thing for a dog to do bark and some do it more than others its a form of expression. work out what he is saying and you can cure it, it takes time but work on it. if its t night then your dog is not sleeping, why too hot? too cold? not comfortable? something about, or maybe he has just not had enough work or exercise. a 30 min walk around the streets is not enough. The railway line can vibrate we

Wanted Looking For Permission In Petworth Or Surrounding
Philluk replied to Tom s400's topic in Pigeon Shooting
Between petworth and mid hurst there are a few farms on the left, when I lived in petworth in shot there go and call in offer to work on the farm in return for a bit of rabbiting. -
The biggest problem here is you will get so many opinions, what one person wants a dog to do is not the same as the next person, I trained my dog when a rabbit runs to chase it, some want their dog to flush and sit, neither is wrong we just have different needs, as you saw by the comments on the guy who grabbed the ears, to some its bad to others they deserve it. telling a dog off is the easiest way to ruin a dog yes sometimes you want to grab them by the ears and kick the shlt out of them as they have dome something right then all of a sudden it goes to rat poop but then do a quick retrieve
