I was happy with that, bit of tweeking i could do better i think

Definition of a poacher "Poaching" has traditionally been defined as the illegal hunting, killing, or capturing of wild animals. The word illegal may give it away Trouble is this guy when asked if he was done poaching winked and said of course So he will be out again soon.

Yea I agree with that cc but there is a massive difference of putting a net on a hole over the fence, or letting your dog do that bush 3 feet over the hedge to deliberately going out multiple times to take deer, getting caught and being set free to do it again, punishment is about a deterrent to others, is that? Don't get me wrong I was a whip in a fox hound pack and we were short of foxes in South ayrshire where I was and there was a guy who was the local rogue he used to take foxes and if you chat to him he will tell you the stories of standing in the rivers with a pitch fork to catch t

Agreed, it's funny how it goes, I was out today lovely sunny morning just for a walk with dogs and took the shotgun, an area I use for rabbit and pigeon as there not normally many deer. Today I saw 7 roe 2 foxes and 2 fallow, and got close to them all. I'm sure most of the deer round here know my jeep.

if your haveing a go at me , yes i said good luck to the old lad , thinking an old man of 70 had the balls to go out & get a deer for himself ,its seemed it turned out to be an ill said statement as he seems to be a master poacher of deer . who does it on a regular basis if he does indeed have a jag with a private reg . poaching deer is not condoned ,it just seems some of us still have a touch of humanity in us to congratulate a 70 man struggleing with a big beastie against all the odds . if he takes one for himself i say good luck if for commercial gain & hes poaching week in week out

Bearing in mind this is a deer stalking & management forum it appears most of the comments and likes are in favour of the poacher, comments like "good on him" etc. does that mean that most people on here are happy with "a poacher". it could be that some on here know that if they say something against the law they will get slated by some other departments. Whether the land is shot or not does that give the rights to anyone to poach? For those who don't have an issue with a poacher do you have land, you do the vermin or deer management? do you have a problem if poachers came on your la

Couple of important points: when you teach your dog always keep whistle in your mouth get used to it in there and be able to talk as well, teach sit means sit and stay, break the stay with a command "heel" is usual. so in the garden anywhere you say sit just blow once, and if possible as you say sit, blow once and put your hand out at him. so you will have 3 command all meaning the same and he will learn all 3 mean sit, you can drop any one and use 2 commands and rotate which you use. The reason sit means sit and stay will become apparent in later life but an exercise you try when you h

I guess it don't matter what opinion you have its your opionion be it right or wrong and you are entitled to it, I do think it's a bit much when someone has their say in a public debate and that person is then subjected to insults. where do you draw the line, it's ok for a 70 yr old to take a deer but not a Irish person who lives in a caravan. What about if the Irish person who goes from town to town and is 70 takes a deer is that then ok? I'm not saying right or wrong there are those on here who say it's ok what if it was any of us on here that did it would we keep our licence, I kn

Ok to answer your question no you don't need dSC to shoot, but your are supposed to have something equivalent to sell the deer to game dealers. The Officer is right you can shoot them with that Calibre as in if you go through the procedure you can use that gun. But your fac must specify the words deer, it's not a question of a licence saying vermin and you think to cover your @rse you will have deer put on in case you ever decide to have a pop at a deer should you see one, also so your license must state you can use expanding ammo as law is you must use that type. As apposed to vermin wh

Does it say on your fac you can shoot CWD and mJ? The fact your FA officer said you "can" shoot them it has to be on your fac.
