    I used to get this with squirrels all the time tough little feckers they are. You can see the pellet hole and blood gushing out of their brain and they are all tensed up and pulling their neck back and you know it should be dead but for some reason it isnt. Then you take another shot and its still doing the same thing.. you know the rifle is 'full power' 11+ ftlb and a distance of 30 yards is a reasonable range and you have deffo hit the killzone, as you can see by the wound and blood.     Ayup guys been out a couple of times this week down the farm monday got a pigeon and a squirrel with the hw97 squirrel was 40 yards headshot pretty happy with that and the pigeon was an awkward shot theough the chest jsb smashed straight through at at 30 yard and it dropped like a stone. Friday went out with the hw100kt .22 got a elevated dove neck shot and a pigeon in the chest. Then went down the wood and bagged another squirrel this time at 38 yards in the ear so it was game over for him.     Ayup! Havent been on here, or out shooting for quite some time but made time to get out yesterday for a couple of hours. Zeroed the 97 in a few shots at the farmyard it was an inch or so off to the left so soon got it bang on.. walked down the track towards the wood and missed a magpie because of a bad wobble! Im a bit rusty after not going for ages haha! Sneaked up on a squirrel and got about 20 yards away before i noticed him so im still like a ninja first shot went miles high totally misjudged the elevated shot at close range with the .22 hw97!     I see your still proper deep in thought about the littlest things Rez. How you keeping mate? I couldnt shoot my hw95k because it was too light for me.. it was just as accurate as my other rifles i just couldnt get on with the lightness of it! Hoping to get out at some point in the next couple of weeks with the trusty hw97 or hw100kt. Havent been shooting for ages tho so should be fun.

    I prefer springers to pcp's and from my experience polished ones shoot a hell of a lot better than factory standard ones!! In most cases...

    I personally love the weight of my hw100kt or should i say the balance with a sidewi der or panoram on their quite amazing. Helps with holding them steady for 30/40 yard standing shots.. Guns should be heavy imho and im cheif president of the noodle arms club. Get to the gym I would get a full length hw100 in .177 for my next rifle if i had more money for guns. The hw97kt and hw100kt i have now are more than enough guns for me tho sei g as i hardly shoot them

    Hw100 ticks all the boxes for me but the 410 is still pretty amazing. Both are excellent rifles
