I bet you got frustrated and pissed off greyman with police and government hiding the evidence. ? Are you working for the government? Stop hiding the evidence.

The village dog must of become a pure breed after 3000 years of line breeding. Surely if a patterdale became a pure breed within 30 years and only 9 generations.
-
If you breed a 1/4 Bull patterdale dog to a 1/4 Bull patterdale bitch and every generation is bred down off of these 2 dogs then 30 years later they are still 1/4 Bull patterdales are they not?regardless of which type they look like. No shame in that.

What Adds More Drive Into A Lurcher Beddy Or Collie?

Aye, but my money would be on the pit bull if it was facing a shamo stag ! Lolshamo would be heavier so it wouldn't be a fair fight -
What Adds More Drive Into A Lurcher Beddy Or Collie?

Some think only a pitbull will be game. A cock robin would fight to the death FFS. Gameness was around in a variety of animals before dogs or chickens were put in a pit. -
Shame if the dog ruined the trophy head on a 23 pointer it would be better to train them to snap their spines.? There's a big difference between them 6 pointers and the big ones 16 point plus.

Whether he was right or wrong it will end his career. He will have too much baggage for any premises to hire him and the fact that every up and coming have a go hero with a few beers on board will challenge him to fight a real man. It wouldn't be worth the grief going back to work.

I used to collect stuffed animals until I offered a lad for free a stuffed stags head that cost me 500 to get done. He told me he didn't want it lol I was disgusted. These items are worth sentimental value only. The 5000 euro collection isn't worth 5000 when you go to sell them or even half the value.

Must be a few out there had dogs killed by them or is that a secret never to be told?

Any body with 100% fail proof evidence with an involvement in big cat society's would fall over themselves trying to be the first to prove it and say I told you so but ye wouldn't listen. For a person to spend all there life looking for scraps of evidence to convince people of its existence to then hide it is just hard to take. If they don't want to bring attention on a cat in a certain area in case the wrong people are out to get it then why report on it or why would big cat society's even admit their existence and release photos if they want to protect the cats from a media circus. Nobody is

just look at what happened on Bodmin moor and exmoor in the early 80s they were losing so many sheep the army were called in they did see a black cat and opened fire but failed to kill it now with the explosion in deer and the animals adapting to there environment they have no need to kill sheep though a few are killed by large carnivores each yearany Siberian tigers ever spotted? They might handle the climate and lower temperature and would have no problem taking cattle. It's usually only panthers talked about.

In Africa it was near impossible to release hand reared cubs into safari parks themeing with game. Without learning hunting skills from its mother an escaped cat would be clueless and quickly starve to death or else have to become a Mankiller or at least take livestock regularly which would leave evidence. If it defeats those odds then what is the chances of meeting up with another cat that has defied the odds and mate with it. If there is a litter of fox cubs in an area the hungry vixen would cause mayhem to poultry and lambs to feed them and quickly run in to trouble. 2 big cats and 4 half

2 German pointers running side by side around the edge of cover rather than going through it. That's a very common sight ?

What Adds More Drive Into A Lurcher Beddy Or Collie?
jiggy replied to springfield's topic in Lurchers & Running Dogs
I wonder why others bother to get upset if somebody wants to breed a particular type. If I'm not feeding it I couldn't care if they bred a basset hound to a greyhound. (Well it is a hunting type and hasn't been done yet). I wonder how much they would sell for? Best of luck to them whatever the type. -
Did the dog bring you back the left antler of that front one. Does that count as a catch??? I can imagine the disappointment on his face coming back with it. (Will this do master,I did try)

What Adds More Drive Into A Lurcher Beddy Or Collie?
jiggy replied to springfield's topic in Lurchers & Running Dogs
It's going around in circles a bit I'd use a malinois for its size, strength, intelligence, shape, jumping and athletic ability and trainability not its attack ability. A good beddy would be better than a bad collie and vice versa same goes for the malinois. If pound for pound gameness was the only thing needed to make good lurchers then we would all be using patterdale x greyhounds. -
i would agree with that for everyday wear the most comfortable and flexible just stay out of the blackthorns with them but they will pierce most boots.

IMO the reason the Pine Marten and the Buzzard are now at troublesome levels is because of artificial releases. All that anti propaganda about certain species being driven to the brink by blood thirsty gamekeepers stems from the days of intensive shooting estates. Name 10 large shooting estates in Ireland ? Could you name 5 ? The truth is there's very few gamkeepers in Ireland. The truth is that the Irish landscape has never ,until recently, been suitable for a lot of these species. But now with help from forestry subsidies you have the wildlife departments releasing artificial numbers into a

What Adds More Drive Into A Lurcher Beddy Or Collie?
jiggy replied to springfield's topic in Lurchers & Running Dogs
If the malinios is brought up in a situation and environment based around training it to be an attack dog then that's going to be a different dog than one that's only 50% or less malinois blood brought up in a well socialised environment and taught not to hang out of people. They are intelligent dogs and know what they can and can't do. As for been in the wrong hands and the dog been isolated then try getting in beside the collie in the tractor of a farmer who lives in the mountain on his own and comes to town once a week for his shopping and him or the dog sees nobody in between. There is noth -
I've never seen or used thermal but is it any worse than up until lately the same lads giving out about it have for the last half century laced the countryside with poison and wiped out every carnivore, omnivore and bird of prey in their county. Lads ask how come bird of prey and pine Martin numbers have rocketed in the last 20 years? Well it's for no other reason than since setting poison has been made illegal most are afraid of a jail sentence if they,re caught setting it. Night vision has replaced strychnine.
