    i have to agree the more im reading the more the.17hmr is standing out as the leader it seems to be a much safer and versitile round with safe being my main criteria. whats the .17hmr like on noise? kanny

    Thanks lads ive found some good information on wickipedia about these rounds i will look into more over the next couple of weeks and do the pros and cons im not in a rush but hope to be up and running for the stubble late this summer if all goes to plan. im still intrested in what other shooters think so feel free. kanny

    ive been giving great thought recently about applying for my fac and sgc i have enough permision to warrant a scud launcher but would only be going for a .22 rimmy and a shotgun. im 40 years old now and time to move up i think... ive read through the application and it all seems pritty straight forward the only problem i have is in the previous convictions. i have 2 minor incedents to my ny name well over 10 years ago problem is i cant remember exact dates is this a problem? can i request a copy of my previous from the local law? kanny

    had it a few times spit rosted over a fire when i was a lad on our summer holiday hunting /camping forays in the local woods it was nice but not as nice as woody done the same way but much better than gudgeon!.. its the only animal that i cant seem to reverse the damage done to my wife by walt disney . kanny

    ive been out on the pigeons again today but it was slow going. last week they was flying in 20 plus at a time this week they dribbled in twos n threes drasticly reducing opportunitys. Ended up with 4 in the bag i think the big guns are taking there toll now there of the phesants. however the silverlining was the last shot of the day straight through the spiny and of a telegraph wire in the feild head shot i paced it out at 52 and i aint short. This old s200 just keeps suprising me. kanny

    i would say well shot single shot wild meat is the best. if you got yourself a good customer base then you could turn a few quid for sure you would have to bare in mind the season thing
