    try one shot in auto focus and one in manual to see if there is much difference...what settings did you have the camera on?

    auto for me but its fine on open ground with the focus spot set at centre and you can keep the subject in the middle of the view finder but in woodland or where the you keep losing sight of the quarry behind small bushes etc the camera doesnt know what to focus on and hunts for focus.....

    just been for a look now ...the rose bay willow herb is starting to sprout now.......just dig a few up and your away....

    just dig a few up ,you wont harm the roots ...there pretty tough....even the small pieces of root will sprout...good luck

    i,d go down the rhizone route as well ,just wait till they start sprouting in the spring and dig a few up

    800 1000 1250 1600 are the iso settings for the d70 ... but a lot of picture quality depends on what lens you are using.tim

    skinning the catch today ,i came upon this ...yellow fat?i,ve skinned a few in my time but never come across this .....has anyone seen it before??
