  1. i,ve never seen one either. seen just about every other british mammal but no otters
  2. saw my first swallow of the year yesterday....summer is here!!
  3. yeah i had one of them ..barked when you picked the hose up
  4. my dog does exactly the same as yours but only does it if there is another dog present....even not as good when there is another person there.think she keeps a few yrds of so that if the dog comes near when she is close to me she can make a break for it and get away with the game.she is getting very jealous of game when other dogs are near.if i turn my back and walk back a bit she will come nearer but never nudging my hand like when we are on our own.never work with kids or animals they say because you are out in company they are bound to mess about
  5. mmm worried me a bit that ...can they do that
  6. dont know how much they are worth but there is one on airgun bbs for £75
  7. gotta agree with cc .they are a last resort and good training is no substitute.on the sheep worrier it was that or the bullet.he also agreed with the highest level being quite severe.he used it on the highest level just as it got up to the sheep and it really scared the sh*t out of the dog.it never looked at a sheep again but he says dont use on a nervous type of dog on full power.it might be the last you see of it as it hightails into the distance
  8. mate of mine used one his dog had a bit of a liking for mutton.worked for him when i had a walk out with him it was frightened to even look at a wooly one.my brother has just bought one for his lab, he is at his wits end with it running to every dog it sees. so will see if it works there.as a last resort it seems a good idea
  9. superb guns even better when silenced
  10. yeah flynn.she does exactly that.if it wasnt for the white on the shoulder.they are identical.we have also spoke about the bouncing in cover when hunting up. all these must be inherited traits.certain strains of dogs must all have different traits, catching styles, retrieving.weird really when you think that they live 100 miles apart, grown up with different dogs and they show the same characteristics.just wish as you probaly do that she would stop lying in dirty puddles
  11. yeah well done the first is always the sweetest.nice looking pup

agree with everyone,be careful and keep safe.a lot of people talk and a few people do it.even though sites are not secure make sure people keep in touch.we need to stick together or all will be lost .lets hope after the next election things will change , if not everyone has to be carefull .
