  1. Badly needed IMO and I say that as someone who makes their living off the fecked up private rental sector...
  2. You're just sore because you had planned a day out to go see the nice man's speech Yeah, I'd packed my picnic of rotten eggs and tomatoes. And you going to share them with Corbyn? How kind of you!
  3. You're just sore because you had planned a day out to go see the nice man's speech

  5. I heard response time for the police was under 5 minutes. Fair play to them could have been a lot worse if they didn't get there so quick RIP to the woman that died and a quick recovery to those injured
  6. Good piece in The Mirror by Corbyn http://www.mirror.co.uk/news/uk-news/jeremy-corbyn-britain-been-down-8555673
  7. Fair play that got a laugh out of me All totally wrong of course
  8. They're known as Corbyn's Butterfly
  9. Trogonoptera brookiana I reckon, from SE Asia No doubt Darcy will be along to correct me in the morning
  10. It was a real short-sighted move letting Tory MPs in UKIP/Tory marginals cross the floor and stand for UKIP IMO. They gained their only MPs (then lost one of them straight away) which doesn't really mean much anyway when they've only got the one but all they've brought to the party is disharmony.. Kick the Tories out and get back to a grassroots movement building on the momentum already generated and then in 2020 they'll have a few real UKIP MPs in parliament not a lone Tory in a purple rosette.
  11. Good post pal At the end of the day having an opposition that actually opposes the Government's policy and offers real alternatives is good for our democracy even if you wouldn't necessarily want to see them in power. Widening the debate in parliament can only be a good thing IMO wherever on the political spectrum you are.
  12. Why would he take advantage of the subsidised bars, he's basically teetotal
  13. thats amazing all that green in yorkshire WOW dont think geography,s your strong point The constituencies in Yorkshire haven't nominated anyone yet that's why they're not green or pink so I'm not sure what point you're trying to make we'll have to wait and see who they nominate. you said corbyns done well in the north .north of where,????????out of 1.2 million people 3 thousand at best went to watch him,its that old saying tell a lie long enough and people believeI didn't realise the North only consisted of Yorkshire He's been nominated in more Northern and traditonally working class con

  19. I'd hardly call burning rubbish a clean, safe source of energy
  20. https://www.physicsforums.com/threads/chernobyl-worst-case.738770/ Some very clever chaps debunking that particular story It still would have been an even bigger disaster if it had melted through to the water below but nothing on the scale of a nuclear bomb.
  21. To be honest, if there ever was a 'best' time for Ukip to be in upheaval then this is probably it.....because everyone else is in the same boat. However, that said, this is also the very best time for Ukip to surge forward, if they can get their act together.... If there was going to be a problem with Wolfe's background this should have been brought up a long time ago. ..... maybe Farage is going to have to step in and sort things out? who knows eh? Couldn't have put it better myself this is probably the least damaging time for it to happen while the press and public are distracted
  22. Memebers of the NEC are resigning in protest over Woolfe being excluded. http://www.mirror.co.uk/news/uk-news/ruling-ukip-members-resign-fury-8551247 You certainly can't say British politics is boring right now
  23. What expertise? BH who seems to know his stuff in this area has said Britain doesn't have the expertise necessary to build a nuclear power plant without foreign input. I may have been a bit dramatic in saying that we couldn't do it, lol. I'll admit that before this turns into an argument based on half truths. We probably could, we still have a nuclear industry obviously just one that we seem to have stepped back from. The investment in UK nuclear power isn't what it was. It's difficult to just let an industry wither and then throw a huge project at it and expect it to be able to handle
