And he'd say "It's off to the gulag for you Comrade WILF" Seriously though I think it's a real shame there's no party really putting forward a libertarian argument in the UK, even UKIP has been getting less and less libertarian as they try and chase ex-Labour voters. Goes back to what we've been saying all along about needing a wider range of views in parliament to have a really healthy functioning democracy Out of interest how far would you take your libertarian ideas? Obviously some amount of taxation and public spending is needed to keep the country running but what would you con

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/2016/08/06/you-dont-need-to-settle-for-the-future-the-tories-are-creating/ Corbyn reaching out to folk who wouldn't usually vote Labour in the Telegraph today

Corbyn answering some questions sent in by readers of The Mirror http://www.mirror.co.uk/news/uk-news/jeremy-corbyn-answers-your-questions-8575417 And a good interview on Radio Cornwall ahead of the rally he held down there today
-
Exactly pal, the establishment have every reason to try and keep Corbyn or any other anti-establishment politician out of power. The idea of any kind of change to the current system terrifies them
-
Good to hear they won't have anything to do with those scumbags
-
Fair play to you for actually going out to engage with them and hear what they had to say to make up your own mind instead of just believing what you've read in the papers about them pal Good post pal Bit in bold is bang on

So the attacker has been interviewed and they're still saying no terrorism motive. Now terrorists aren't usually shy about their reasons for carrying out attacks (would kind of defeat the point of carrying them out in the first place) so I'd say it's safe to say this wasn't a terrorist attack motivated by any kind of extremism, just a nutter going nuts in public. naivety springs to mind At Why would a terrorist hide the motives behind his attack? When has that ever happened before? And if you're implying the police are lying about what was said in his interview well then they're going

Gnasher I never had you down as a Muslim loving terrorist apologist pal

If anyone has any evidence this attack was motivated by any kind of extremism I'd love to see it, until then that position is all feels and no facts

So does this mean extremists are victims? Well done bgd for defending the poor falsely accused extremists. FFS the angles you take are very strange... Who said anything about extremists being victims in any way silly fool back

He was doing fine til those c**ts broke his concentration Serious pisshead skills there

Careful they might convert you Seriously though fair play to you pal I know you've got your reasons for never voting Labour and I doubt you'll ever change your mind but at least you can discuss things civilly and have actually listened to some of the things he's got to say even if you don't agree with him If you do chat to them let me know what they say about SWP members joining their branch and give them a piece of your mind if they say they're alright with it

SWP and UAF scum are latching on to Corbyn due to his left wing ideals very dangerouse people for the ordinary working class folk imo middle class leftys that welcome open borders. There's around 2,500 members of the SWP. Hardly a significant proportion of Corbyn supporters. And you can't be a member of the SWP and Labour Party anyway in fact you can be barred from taking part in the leadership election if you ever were a member of the SWP.... Really is weird your obsession with such a tiny fringe group. Its because I see their members in my town banging the drum for Corby

Corbyn was in Swansea after Merthyr. You have to admire the man's stamina, he's been doing multiple rallies a day up and down the country non-stop since the leadership election started http://www.southwales-eveningpost.co.uk/watch-swansea-welcome-jeremy-corbyn-at-labour-rally/story-29590259-detail/story.html

Some of the more fanatical support does a get a bit cringeworthy I agree with you there pal. Do have to remember this is all for Labour leadership campaign so these rallies are more aimed at people that are already Labour members/supporters, they have been good for getting his policies out to the wider public too though.

Half of them were ferried in from Cardiff and Newport. Yep people travel from all over to see Corbyn, quite impressive isn't it Not when it's the same 300 lol Hillary does the same thing lol Absolutely ridiculous. I suppose he got the same 300 people to join the party 1000 times each too

Labour beat UKIP in a council by-election last night, obviously with the really low turnout for council by-elections it doesn't really mean much in the big picture but interesting to see such a clear swing from UKIP to Labour.

http://www.theguardian.com/politics/2016/aug/04/high-court-to-rule-on-new-members-vote-in-labour-leadership-ballot Word on the grapevine is Owen Smith will pull out if it's ruled that the 130,000 new members do get a vote to avoid Corbyn winning with an increased mandate. Apparently some rebel MPs have already been putting pressure on him to pull out after his performance so far

Yep people travel from all over to see Corbyn, quite impressive isn't it And that isn't a big crowd, have you been to Merthyr on a Saturday night? Not bad for a weekday afternoon IMO. Show me another politician who can consistently draw the sort of crowds Corbyn does... After seeing the crowds he draws hes welcome to the lentil eating fools for the most part tbh....Waving your fist with a load of activists doesn't appeal to a lot of voters around here, if it did then Merthyr would've been packed today.Wasn't the reasoning behi
