    Bloody hell Steve, you're only back 5 mins! Lol I've been out and meeting farmers for ages and have got 1 bit for rabbits and 1 for foxes. Not many rabbits around though.

    Are we talking JFK magic bullets here? LOL Depends on what it hits on the way to target and one it hit target and then maybe goes through target. I agree with Seeker mostly but i suppose it could be possible for a large deflection from something. Its not always possible to do this obviously but the only way to be totally sure you hit nothing is to know exactly how far your bullet could go (ie half mile, mile etc) and then make sure there's nothing within that circumference from target.

    Hawke have got a lot better over the years, I had one on my rimmy, air rifle and centrefire.

    Failing that the yukon photon 5x42 is great value and it's onboard ir will easily take you to past 100 yards on rabbits

    I have a rarely used and recently serviced and checked AA S400 Carbine for sale. It went back to AA last year for a leaking seal and they did the lot and checked the power. I'd practically say this was in immaculate condition and I've shot less than 5 tins of pellets since it was new. Included is the green carry case, the moderator and the sling. NOT INCLUDED ARE THE SCOPE or MOUNTS £300 Ono. PM me

    Interesting points as i was looking to get a 750 for my 243 for the foxes. Where i am i have good position to get out to around 300 yards easily in the dark (usual safety rules apply - before anyone jumps on it) so having to constantly change focus from about 50 out to say 200 would be an arse after a while. Currently using the Photon 5x42 and its a good piece of kit. Haven't seen anything out past about 80/90 yards through it to get a real flavour for what it's limitations are but it'll be on my rimmy soon enough anyway. So you folks would recommend the doubler lens for one. Good to k

    I have a 243 for Deer and Fox and my FLO was really good, i asked if he wanted to see my DSC but he said he didn't need to. I don't think that it made any direct difference to me.

    Unless you are target shooting out past 900 yards, the extra mag above 10 times is in my opinion a waste. Better to get a 3-9 or 4-12 or even a fixed power.
