    I used to tread flounders years ago on the river dee with an old mate, we walked out from parkgate on the wirral across the marsh to wales to tread the main channel , great craic, good numbers of flounder there,, we carried them off in old sac's,, young and fit then. I ate shark in a restaraunt in parkgate it was called the copper kettle i think.

    Hard luck not getting any bass 8shot, what bait were you using for the flounders, fishing last night at a pier with flattie rigs spoons ect, lugworms mackeral not a bite of a flounder,,, mate caught a cracking smoothhound on mackeral and a couple of whiting though. any tips mate welcome.

    Danny have you tried him on a retractable lead, enter field were you know there will be rabbits, keep the light off until you get as close as you can, switch on light , let the dog off the slip, if you have to run to get closer do it. Switch light off ,you can still control the dog, pull him back to you,keep light off, repeat .Make sure theres no moon and plenty of wind.

    Let me get this right, if the dog doesnt come back you run up to it and give it a smack, the only message that is getting across to the dog is if your near him you hit him, dog makes sure he doesnt stop running next time. Danny i will ask you again has the 3 year old dog ever had a rabbit in its mouth,,, if it had a rabbit in its mouth did the dog retrieve it or run off with it.

    Well done mate nice fish that, digging lugworms yesterday with the mrs who was pointing them out in the dugout sand, "are you blind man". flounder fishing on saturday cant wait, any tips welcome.

    175 quid for a 6x6 wooden panel for fencing, sweet jesus, thats for the premium model, that means theres more nails in it than thee economy one at 135 quid,,,, i doubt my terriers would get a workout before i would pay that..

    What would they charge mate any idea ?.........surely if they,re doing it out of the kindness of their heart like they make out shouldnt it be free. ITS a business gnash, i dont think the diesel and the cameras they were using comes free. They said it was an alternative to killing them .

    Are you chasing any quarry in the daytime danny with the dog, sounds to me that he is keen to hunt when he sees the quarry mostly at night, has he had any rabbits in his mouth yet, the more he sees and the more he chases with a positive strike should improve him with time. Does he come back with a catch straight away or does he run off with it?
