  1. And if we voted the other set of cnuts in we'd be spending more on the Syrians....
  2. You do know this was a way past it Vitali in his second to last fight?? Lol way past it so was Kevin Johnson when aj apparently stopped him but on one cares for that Yes but Vitali didn't get demolished early on now did he?? What exactly are you getting at? AJ is looking the business and destroying everyone and will become a contender shortly all things being well. Fury is in the premier league now and we will see how he does against the worlds best. Gary Cornish is a joiner who had to ask his company for time of to train for the Joshua fight yes aj has the power but it's time for a serious

  5. tyson wasn't a prospect at his age, he was world champion at age 20. i dont like to see all this bickering about who's this and that. off course people have their favourites and thats our own choice id like to see all our prospects get up the ladder and hopefully to the top. who is the best? well time will tell but the young joshua is a very good prospect at the moment and the division being the way it is im sure he could go all the way. as gnasher has said he is in a top camp who will get him the chance of success. if he don't go all the way he will certainly make a lot of money on his jou
  6. The safer than car stat is bullshit, a car is much safer. You go on a plane as much as you go in a car and the risks are far greater. I hate flying, seriously wish there was a sedation option on a flight.
  7. Tbh mate my Collie crossed whined like a bitch till the day he died, he was irritating as hell.
  8. I think it's sad that our country turned its back on a breed that is the epitome of courage. Instead we look at the British Bulldog has our mascot, I suppose that breed fits perfectly with the way our country is these days....
  9. Got a brand new one sent signed from Bob Stevens in the States for about £50...is he not still selling the ones left over from the court case?...its an ok book but not worth $200 or the other silly prices it went for over here years back...Complete Game dog is good as is the Pit Bull Bible...got a stack of books here Homan ,Semencic ,Stratton Fleig ect...not a bad little investment looking at the prices some go for these days...will be flogging the lot at some point...but as this thread is 'Historical'...I'd recommend Louis Colby's book on the APBT...its a little jem of a book...imo Yeah you
  10. That book is still going for crazy money isn't it, I was going to buy it till I saw the price. Another good one is My Life and Times with The APBT by James Crenshaw. Just had quick search and Most the good book are going for silly money The Stratton books and Dogs of Velvet and Steel are going for normal book prices.

  12. would love read. It but not paying 200 notes for it lol...anyone recommend me a decent book to read on bull terriers I've got a fair few books on the APBT, anything by Richard Stratton is good for a newcomer on the breed.
  13. The Eastern Europeans tend to scatterbreed, breeding best to best. It might make good performance for the job at hand but where's the consistency? I for one would line breed every time, you get to fully understand the good and bad traits. If your dogs are losing some vigour due to tight linebreeding or inbreeding I'd make an out cross to dogs of the same family.
  14. Don't forget Colby's most famous APBT was called Pincher ;-)
  15. Several breeds? Not being funny but that is just your opinion, I'd like a bit of evidence to prove your claim? I wouldn't say the Americans added other breeds into the mix tbh, they just had more variation of the Bull and Terrier type dogs.
  16. http://www.apbt.online-pedigrees.com/modules.php?name=Public&file=printPedigree&dog_id=273896 This dog is a proper Bulldog throwback.
  17. Forget sugars, carbs and fats for now. Hit your protein and hit your calories. You can tweak everything else as you settle into it. Try to keep sugars around your workout. I didn't end to go over on my fats tbh it just happened haha.
  18. I wouldn't call it romance, if anything Brian would say there's no Bull blood in his Terriers and that they don't need it, last time we visited his kennels I'll let you guess what type of dog he had along with his Terriers, one nearly killed one of his Patts straight in front of us.,,
  19. I sometimes think to myself what the hell am I thinking wanting to kill such a marvellous animal, saying that I'm with Boris. Never done urban fox hunting with dogs on a push bike...
  20. Just done my first day on MyFitnessPal, my total calories for the day should be 3,776. I've had 4,069, trouble is I'm short on my protein by 94g and 77g short on my carbs. I've gone over my fat intake by 68g which is a massive amount, I've also gone over my sugar intake by 38g. I can see hitting my macros and getting my calories about spot on being harder than winning the lotto.
  21. Don't forget most Pitbulls are curs unless you agree that there's different degrees of Gameness? That's a entirely different topic that will get out of hand lol.
  22. Thats interesting..... If im not wrong the Cajun rules were brought out in order to stop a dog needing to scratch into a dead dog to obtain victory.......so if the sole objective was the first dog to kill or inflict as much damage on the opponent as possible is the winner then where is the need for gameness ?......which as we know was a trait that existed in these dogs long before Cajun rules came into play.......yet a trait not really associated with Bulldogs. Just something to think about. Sorry Gnasher, completely wrong. As for those who say they can see terrier influences in

  24. Probably from inbreeding. The red nose dogs were known as old family dogs. They were a segment of the Old Family Red's, that when kept pure showed a Red nose.
  25. Well Pit dog was entered to Nuttal's terriers back in the day for instance, work that one out ;-) Not really, Mr Nuttall has always said that his dogs go back to his Grandfathers and it was him who put pit dog into his terriers. So the bull blood was already there and BN always called them pit dogs, not staffs etc. That's what I'm on about, Nuttal's grandfather used Pit Dogs from Northumberland. I wasn't talking about Brian specifically.
