They are smaller than the Timber Wolf though, you'd expect them to be larger given where they live.

I was talking about the rules/culture rather than the dogs.......ive had it explained to me it would be like a big wwf wrestler taking on Muhammad Ali......its either a fight or its entertainment ? oops BGD beat me to it ! A dogman over there told me that behind closed doors they roll them harder than their traditional rules, he owns both Tosa's and Pitbulls. Go look up Grand Champion Thunder, a serious Bulldog indeed. Whats the point rolling a Tosa it can never be matched under Cajun rules as they are not game......all just seems a bit silly to me. Obviously for breeding purposes, don't

I dont mean any rudeness mate im just curious....do you have kids ? or would you let a dog like that interact around kids ?.......i looked over that website you posted it all just seems slightly hypocritical to me he explains about taking the best fighting traits out of the Apbt and the best guarding traits out of the Mastiff.......and doing neither !.......i can see the use for catchwork on boars and suchlike but as a family guardian as he calls it .......sounds like a recipe for disaster to me. Haven't got kids myself but have plenty of neices and nephews round all the time and when I had

Yes I agree, the Pitbull and the Tosa are the only true fighting breeds IMO although some of the LGD breeds are impressive animals despite their massive size, what do you think of the Bully Kutta?

If I'm not mistaken isn't the Bullmastiff supposedly a cross between the Bulldog and the Mastiff? Basically the original Bandog?

Must admit thats always been my philosophy....choose a breed for what you need !.......but always worth listening to new theories and move with the times so to speak. Basically the fighting Tosa is a fighting Bandog as Pit is put into the mix on a regular and consistent basis especially in the Lightweight division. From everything ive heard and read about Tosa,s and the culture of the fighting they do.....i wouldnt class them as fighting dogs in the truest sense of the word...but thats another subject. Don't believe everything you read especially from the likes of Stratton, obviously they are

The "ideal" bandog would be as fit as a bulldog with the guardian temp of a mastiff type, it's basically trying to recreate the old, capable mastiff types. Their use and value is as a guard dog but I can't understand swapping bulldogs for them, I've always kept both I guess bulldog folk would be attracted to the bandog types because of the athleticism and tenancity they show, both traits we all admire in the bulldog. I know after keeping bulldogs I couldn't stand to have a fat lazy dog like most mastiffs are these days. Do you have any pictures of a Bandog bgd ?.....im not sure if ive ever

Probably shouldn't have said matched as I doubt there was money involved but one was rolled with a decent Pitbull.

I think when you cross a fighting dog with other large dogs like a mastiff you have a recipe for disaster, inevitably the man biters get labeled as Pitbulls wether they are or not. What's wrong with a Rottweiler or German Shepherd for christs sake....
-
Can remember when Swinford tried to create the ultimate canine by crossing a gamebred Pitbull with an English Mastiff, one was matched back into a Pitbull and it lasted 12 mins.

Well his smaller less talented brother gave a poor Abraham all he could handle so I reckon he's got a great chance.

She looks a pure Bullmastiff to me, nice specimen as well.

Cummins is one of my old faves...

So you believe all these doctors who work their asses of to get where they are in on the "act?"

Sadly that's the way things are in a nation like ours, what can we do?

Why would the government spend so much money on treatments though?

Is The Apbt The True Bulldog Or A Terrier Cross?

You here shit about every dog, Jeep was labelled a cur even though he went 3:45 mins against one of the best and won and was one of the best producers ever.... -
What's your guys thoughts about weightlifting and boxing training, haven't boxed for quite a bit now and I'm kind of missing it. Will it be bad practice doing a full body routine 3 times a week and boxing?
-
I'm thinking of going with a good personal trainer for one or two sessions just so he can see if my form is spot on, it isn't too easy whilst training on your own.

Steroids have been and most certainly are used in rugby today.
