Is The Apbt The True Bulldog Or A Terrier Cross?
DogFox123 replied to DogFox123's topic in General Talk
The breed will live on, they even have Bulldog clubs in Japan where matching is legal. -
The ones who say fcuk the ban are usually jobless chavs with nothing to lose.... Big mistake leaving the motor when poaching...

It used to be bad with our last Akita, he did big damage to dogs whilst on the leash. Maybe I should have muzzled him but I wasn't in the wrong, it was the other dogs coming up to him. I'm not having my dog on a leash and muzzled for other dogs to get hold of him. A German Shepard mix that used to go crazy at him as we passed its back garden got out the front door as me and my dad passed its house. He snapped the poor things leg in an instant, like I said if you get a dog aggressive Akita be careful because they can do big damage quick and this is against breeds like German Shepards, Rottweile

My mate had a Shar-pei that looked like the fighting type really lean with very little wrinkle at all, no idea if it was a throwback, import or just a crossbreed but it was some animal, easily as athletic as my bulldogs and just as much of demon with other dogs. I've seen a Chow type go against a Bulldog in China for a good 45 mins, it more than held its own. Of course the quality of the Bulldog is questionable.

Simple solution, home plugs. They are a brilliant device.

The fighting types of Shar-pei's and Chow's are something to be reckoned with over there, they are nothing like the show ponies over here.

I've not had that problem, at first it crashed now and again but now it works fine. IVue TV is a very handy addon.

To save you some time while you're working out how to do it, here's my latest film reviews: Terminator genisys - rubbish Southpaw - rubbish Mad max - not as good as the original But at least it's free rubbish. I seriously dont have a clue what I am doing .. think I will re set the box to factory defaults & take it to a pc shop let them do it Search on YouTube "The Beast Wizard" it shows you how to install it.

Yeah I noticed that when my wizard disappeared after updating it, I've just downloaded The Beast wizard which is better IMO.

They are a dominant breed but aren't human aggressive, infant the Japanese used to leave their children with them home alone and to babysit. They are calm dogs so a bit of rough child's play isn't going to bother them in the slightest, every Akita our family has owned as required minimal socialisation and have been great with people. They can be terrible though with other dogs of the same sex that don't submit to their dominance, luckily our current dog is ok but the one before was deadly with other dogs of the same sex. I think you don't give yourself enough credit when it comes to trainin

A lot of what you are saying is exactly the same as what friends of mine say who have kept the breed. They keep spaniels now but their daughter has an Akita bitch. Her bitch is just a big pup really, soft as grease but very aloof with strangers. The dog weighs more than she does but is under complete control by her. The dog doesn't have an aggressive bone in it but that's not to say their old dogs didn't..... Our current dog would make a useless guardian, he doesn't do anything when strangers enter the garden. He sits there watching them, they are good at reading people though so maybe he ca

If you got it from Droidsticks you should get a wizard with it, all the addons will be preloaded and categorised.

Any large dog is potentially aggressive...Any dog is potentially aggressive... Exactly. what would you say is the most aggressive breed of dog out there today, it used to be the apbt from the fatalities back in the 90s, but think rotties, and gsds attacks have been more the last 10 years . God knows, the reason such breeds make the headlines is because of the damage they do when they flip. IMO Akitas are as good with people as any breed.

I don't agree at all, brilliant breed IMO.

Cracking looking dogs and impressive control too, still wouldn't trust them around kids though I wouldn't trust no breed with kids, Akitas are great with kids but you'd have to be a fool to leave any kid with any breed unattended. Who said anything about leaving dogs unattended with kids? From personal experience I wouldn't trust an Akita in the house with kids. All 3 kids that I know got attacked by Akitas weren't unattended, if they were they'd probably be dead I'm sure if you get one from the right breeder and raise it right they can be fine but at the end of the day they're a powerful,

Some are that hard they can't even see half that amount...

I must admit I'm a big hypocrite as far as hunting is concerned, I hate hunting predators such as big cats with a passion yet would think of nothing whilst hunting a fox.

We've owned them for over 20 years, soft as hell with family members. Can be aloof with strangers, more cat like than dog. They are really laid back, no fussy in your face pain in the arse kind of dog. Can be a nightmare with other dogs that don't back down from them, I'm talking really bad.
