  1. I haven't read all posts. . I realise it's common in collie crosses, however I can verify non collie lurchers doing the same. . My dog now who is deer/grey/whippet won't run all out at a rabbit near a hedge from too far off. I'd be disappointed at a pup/inexperienced dog not giving it full beans on his quarry at any distance, but come second season, I'd expect to be seeing a little savviness personally.
  2. He's okay on bunnies, won't touch rats! 26"tts. Thanks Gaz ATB mate.
  3. Oscar. Grey/Whippet x Deer/Grey. Competitive dog. More pics in my gallery.
  4. Arguably so, speed and movement for a 6ft 3" 15+st man. . Phenomenal. . You could certainly argue he's the finest athlete of all time. . .
  5. Thanks field marshall No worries, it's nice to see participants of the noble art being commended. . Good on you. . ATB
  6. 100% record? Not great? Name me a boxer with a 100% record .Oh sorry i dont read old post .. I liked terry marsh too Rocky Marciano micckey. 49 wins 0 losses 0 draws. Read through recent thread, good reading! Haha. ATB
  7. Or most bummed up coursing dogs in the country lot of nonsense Haha well, I don't expect every dog is as good as what it's made out to be
  8. The title of this thread should have read "best KNOWN coursing dogs in country atm"
  9. That's what I would've guessed at. ATB for the rest of the season.
  10. Dam was a second cross whippet/greyhound and Sire was a first cross deerhound/grey. How's yours bred? He looks in magnificent shape mate
  11. Lovely looking dog. Here's mine and his apprentice!
  12. Referring to the original statement/question "Gay Marriage????????????" My take of it, if TWO consenting adults WANT to be together who are we or any authority to deny them the right to be together, regardless of how perverted we may deem their behaviour to be, its their choice. We are responsible to ourselves only. . However, let me make this clear "Gay Marriage" is not possible. Marriage, as previously stated, is a Biblical Constitution, it condones a lifelong, one man for one woman policy only. . Regardless of whether we dislike or disagree with it, that is what it is. I'm all
  13. Sorry FM i beg to difa mate. I personally think that mayweather IS in the SAME league in my eyes TUFFTY I'd agree he's in the same league in the skill and speed departments, but as for power, aggression, fitness, durability, will to win. . hmmm. . But there we are, that's my view, it'd be a boring place if we all had the same one! ATB
  14. My bad, try again mate. I appreciate your point regarding refs, some are bit premature sometimes for sure. Perhaps better safe than sorry though ay. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/FULL-COLLECTION-BOXING-VHS-VIDEOS-INCLUDING-MAGAZINES-/220632129053
  15. Check the link out coonboy http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/FULL-COLLECTION-BOXING-VHS-VIDEOS-INCLUDING-MAGAZINES-/220632129053. Back to Mayweather and I'll finish with this. . Best defensive fighter of our day? Could well be. Is he in the top bracket? Absolutely, but top bracket of today's fighters, the question was how would he get on 20/30 years ago as welterweight. . I know that your defence is relative to what you are defending against. Granted the man chinned our boy Hatton, but he was a weight above his own and hardly a young Roberto Duran! He struggled with a 34 year old De La Hoya,
  16. I personally cannot envisage Mayweather competing with any of them! Would he have even gone the distance? A 6'1" lightening fast, dynamite punching Tommy Hearns! I'd be sweating if my money was on Floyd! Flattened! Leonard!?! Systematically beaten in every department. Duran! His hands of stone would have reduced Mayweather to rubble! You boys must remember the aforementioned men had each other to test themselves against. They were Proven to be the real deal. I believe Floyd has chosen his opponents Very carefully, he struggled with an ageing De La Hoya (I thought he was lucky) and Castillo.
  17. Happy Christmas mate! And a happy new year. All the best to you and yours
  18. Alright folks. Need to upsize the kennel to cater for the new pup! I got a chap to make the kennel, just need to give him measurements! I've drawn the design just can't determine the size! I'm thinking of width and length - What are you using for 2 x approx 27tts lurchers?? Thoughts appreciated. Thanks.
  19. Don't mince your words gnasher! Aha. I was trying to be a bit diplomatic, but yes agree with you 100%. . Lets move on to Audrey Harrison!?! :-) All the best.
  20. Fellas', by all means argue Calzaghe as possibly britains best super middle ever, but in terms of Joe Calzaghe "greatest boxer that ever lived" this thread should never have got off the ground! I stated who I think is possibly the greatest of them all (Walker Smith Jr aka Sugar Ray Robinson) and my favourite of them all (Erik Morales) there's a big difference! As previously stated in other terms, anyone arguing Joe Calzaghe to even be mentioned "with" the best ever, let alone as "The Best ever" is apparently not all that knowledgable with the noble art! Over and out with this topic, Y
  21. Sorry, not to get away from Joe. Calzaghe was a great fighter, no doubt.
  22. Here's my favourite fighter of all time - Erik "El Terriblé" Morales. Featured here in one of the greatest fights of recent times. Morales v Barrera 1.
  23. Ladies and gentlemen, I present to you The Greatest Boxer of All time - Sugar Ray Robinson.
