Don't think i've ever given the ferrets something that they won't eat. Crow, magpie, pigeon, they love them all.

Never been asked for it myself, still have it just incase. Don't think most farmers would give a toss whether you have it or not though.

I work at a butchers part time, so I get as much meat as the ferrets can eat for free. Wood shavings are free from a joiners shop, and shredded paper as bedding.

I understand that he repairs broken Mk1 collars, but does he repair Mk3m collars? Deben are wanting £30 to repair it... I've tried ringing him twice in the last couple of days, but there's no answer. I'm guessing he's at a game fair somewhere. Joe

Out ferreting again yesterday. Normally I would have finished by now, but i've just got some new permission that's so high up that they have only just started breeding. Only brought the one ferret, half a bag of nets and the spade. It's the same land that Ideation and I have been trying to clear the rabbits off. I approached it from a different side today, as per usual rabbits were running everywhere, mostly dropping into the limestone cracks but one ran to ground in a 5 holer in the top of a small mound. My ferrets also eat rabbit all year round, I still have loads more than I need though.
