  1. Good luck lads. Might go out myself if weather is alright.
  2. Reminds me of being 12 and staying up late hoping to get a glimpse of a fanny Oh the days before internet porn. Might stick it on for a bit of nostalgia.
  3. Start of next season should be good then.
  4. Take it to the vets mate. It's a broken toe, not a gaping wound from a fox. The vet will do his job, maybe tell you to leave the dog off the running until the ground isn't so hard. But a broken toe isn't anything to be paranoid about. Better safe than sorry. A toe is quite important on a running dog.

    handy torch

i was just looking at torches in china £5 - £12 each dont look bad eaither but not sure if they would last thou I'm not sure mate. I have one that was about £12.00. Took 2 weeks to get here. Very impressed with the beam and battery life. I actually caught a rabbit on it on friday. It certainly wouldn't replace the main lamp. But for £12 they are a handy torch... even to have as a backup.
  7. Dogs are ripped! Nice pics mate and good result.

    handy torch

Much cheaper from China. Not sure on the difference in quality.
  9. Will do from now on. Really was not expecting it though. I had poo bags but they were a little small. Haha
  10. Yeah I know. I never liked walking around the village with my catch on display though. Always feel guilty even though there's no need. Might cause a drama with the animal lovers around.
  11. Just went for a walk around the grass fields behind my house. I took the cree torch out with me. Wasn't hunting, just walking the dog. It was frosty out but the ground still felt soft. I walk the area a lot and there is the odd rabbit sitting by the ditch but that is about it. I walk around a corner and shine the torch in the field and see a rabbit sitting out. I was at the ditch so knew there was a good chance. After a few turns and close calls at the ditch she caught it. Always nice when you're not expecting it. Then I had the difficulty of walking through the village to my house holdin
  12. Fair play mate. Have to think of what's best for the dog. Iv mates up your way actually... Well in Stockport.
  13. Cheers mate. What's it doing down London? Yeah it was another confusing moment for me.... Just staring trying to figure out what the hell it was. As soon as I was sure it was a cat... and bigger than my dog.. let alone a domestic cat, I ran like the wind.
  14. I was in the South down on the Costa. Saw some strange stuff out lamping. Was near a chicken farm one night and flicked the beam on towards one of the barns. 2 big yellowish eyes were staring back at me. I automatically thought it was a cat of some kind... then I saw it move. It was f*****g massive... but still moved like a cat. My dog was staring down the beam and instead of pulling to run towards it she almost backed off. I thought maybe it was a big fox... then it ran. 100% a big cat of some kind. Scared me so I legged it. I told everyone about it and no one believed me... Couple y
  15. Haha fair play mate. Ignore me, just trying to be a funny c**t.
  16. Yeah haha. They obviously looked a lot smaller that a rabbit. But first night out in a new country you don't really know what you are going to find. Took me a good few weeks to realise it was spiders. I was running a 3/4 greyhound over there. But she got a horrible disease caused by the bite of the sandfly. She went from 100% to dead in about 3 months. Pretty much eats them from the inside out. I'm running a 3/4 Saluki over here now. Best pic I can find of the spiders glowing eyes. Sorry this has nothing to do with the topic
  17. Yeah i'm not going to move back to Spain any time soon. Do miss the weather but not the spiders... First couple of nights I went out in Spain it confused the hell out of me seeing glowing eyes everywhere.... Turns out the eyes of the wolf spider glow similar to a rabbits on the lamp. And they were EVERYWHERE
  18. Haha. Very true. What I would do for a heat wave though! I'm still waiting for summer to hit this year!
  19. I heard snow was due this weekend and then from Monday onwards temperatures rise to 7. But you can never trust the weather reports.
  20. It is bollox. First the water logged fields and now the frost. It's meant to warm up next week... But then we will encounter the first problem again.
  21. Really? I thought it takes them days to do them. Never seen it done first hand though. Some good ones on youtube.
  22. I'm not too sure sweetheart. But he's looking for some permission around your way. You scratch his back he scratch yours.
  23. may not be a good idea mate these fields round here are flooded with massive puddles all over may end in tears with your condition Although having a blind lamping partner may be of some use from a comedy perspective "No mate, the rabbits just a few more steps, No, thats not a slurry pit you can smell! Just a couple more steps!" ive got plenty of permision if anyone want to accompany a partially sighted elderly lady, i go around dishforth area, although i do get pulled up by the police a lot for driving to slowly at night Give this guy a tinkle. http://www.thehuntinglife.
