    I have had it with a dog in the summer and the vet said it was seasonal allplecia, the can treat it with hormone jab.

    I live in Blackwood in south Wales and I have been on here a few weeks now and have met some good blokes and had a few nights lamping out with some ( thanks for this guys) I wondered if there was a club covering our area and if there isn't why not get one started. There are a lot of people on here local to me and it would be good to get together if it's only once a month for a few beers and to swap stories. What are your thoughts........

    I have always had a whippet for last 20 years, had one given me for a pet for my kids and she turned into a fantastic worker. I had her for 12 years then got another a few years later. Got one now in my pic as house pet but also works her in the day. She gets a bit cold at night. The only downside is my first whippet got me into lurchers and lamping , this ended up with me getting divorced and cost me a load of money and a house lol still got my whippet though and still enjoying my dogs. Also got new mrs who loves dogs and better house so it all worked out good in the end. The moral is you can

    My 2 yr old whippet has just come into season, I have been trying to buy a straight cross saluki whippet but every time I see a litter they are never true crosses. I know the best way to cross them is saluki bitch to whippet dog but I was wondering if anyone has tried putting a saluki dog over a whippet. I am just a bit worried about her having problems bringing the pups due to the size of the sire. Also anyone know for any good saluki dogs for stud preferably in wales if possible

    infra red lamp is the best Ive found but tube heaters are much cheaper to run

    I have a 4 month old jack russell pup and I am about to start her on rabbits and rats, she will mainly be used as a bushing dog for rabbits. I have a 4 yr old russell dog that is a brilliant bush dog but I bought him in at a year old already working. Any advice on how to get the best from this pup as there seems to be a massive gap in the ability of some bushing terriers who are really up for it working the deepest of cover and others who are not so keep on hard cover work. Any advice ?
