  1. iv run plough few times over the years,i wouldn't purposely walk plough fields all night lamping but if i put me head through a hedge and there's something worth running il slip the dog but as said only if its nice and soft and never had any problems. i put this question up few year ago,some would say it depends on the type of dog you have and its style of running which may well make it more suitable and less injury prone than others,maybe

    been out a lot lately nice having a bit time off work sick nothing wrong with me legs though lol, plenty cover still up every where i go so looking forward to the frosts coming and killing it off,seen plenty bigger stuff breaking cover but not seeing the bunnies really as yet although easy to tell when she on one. roll on winter https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PVCwMPSZNJI

  7. look a handy little team mate,been out myself few times lately just putting out a few bunnies keep them ticking over, fields still rock solid for the lurchers to run anything
  8. i still use jeys fluid from wilkos cheap enough
  9. was out bushing couple days ago dogs all running free in wood land no problem but when we done the hedgerows along the fields it was just a matter of letting the bushers work no way we could slip a dog the ground still rock hard

  16. when i was about 11 me and a couple mates dug up 10 foot of metal pipe in a field,first basic detector i had,remember knowing at the time it was a pointless task but feck when your on something you dont want give in,panting and puffing covered from head to toe in mud left it there and walked home happy as pigs in shite at what we accomplished getting it out the ground
  17. found plenty old pennies,military cap badges,empty round cases few other bits and bobs,if you find anything really interesting,keep schtum
  18. not sure hitting the dustbin at the bottom of my garden would be a contender but look forward to the vids know some of you can knock a flys eye out at 30 yards lol,il just keep wasting my hex nuts for now,good idea though

  20. well at least it wont associative the injury to the running of quarry, mine she was full pelt on the arse of something at the time which im guessing was the reason she never came good again
  21. not much good to you perhaps but i had a dog hit a tree full on she was 5 year old at the time and was never the same again,i even layed her off for a year she was worth waiting on but it was the end for her im afraid good luck with it though atb
