    a nice big cage will do, if you have the room, some pipes for them to run about in, things for them to climb ect to exersise, other than that work them as much as you can when you get the time, normally in the autum+winter months, summertime i normally do a bit of ratting with mine, but theyr not too much maintance, atb ft

    the jill thats running around constantly is the mum of the kits, the other jill has just come into season her vulver is huge, but im taking her to the vets to have her put out of season, gonna phone around tommorrow and find the cheapest,. as some vets are asking stupid money

    my jill had kits 6 weeks ago today, after a week or 2 i put my other jill in with her, my 2 jills lived together right up untill 6 days before the one jill had her kits, i split them up for a couple of weeks, but theyv been in together now for atleast the past 4 weeks with no problems what so ever, the only thing is the mother jill keeps running back and forth the cage at 100mph ,every time i look out at the cage shes,constantly running back anf forth,her heart is pumping 10 to the dozen, shes just going bannana's, even when i get her out of the cage outside or in, she just seems to have

    have the cage trap as large as possible around 6ft is good, bury the bottom of the cage under soil, if its a double entry leave both entries up,even if a single entry, leave them open for a few days baited so the foxes can take the bait with no problems, then after a week or so set the trap to spring when bait gets taken, hope this helps fts

    glad someone had a good season, my biggest bag was 4 last season, but its not really the numbers i go for, not everyone has the permission with big numbers or even room to keep a spare freezer to keep the spare in for the spring/summer when feeding kits, people are in different situations, Seriously mate...it is each to their own...I'm just stating the way I do things here... Tell you what though, if throughout the season I can't put enough surplus flesh away to feed a couple of litters of ferret kits I'll hit this game on the head and take up origami... ....     my jill came into season, and new i needed a hob or two for this coming season instead of buying in, i know what im getting when i breed mine, i think its a lucky dip buying in,(just my opinion) iv got more perm this season,and will be doing alot more rabbiting, so yep need more ferts, i cant understand where people are coming from either saying they dont know why people breed ferrets to sell for a tena to end up loaded, no one breeding ferrets is going to end up loaded, i no myself and most other people are not diluded by that, all im saying is , when it comes to re-homing my ferr
