  6. Treadmills are a great tool when used correctly aS they can dramatically improve fitness when used to push the dogs that bit more. But to many people and I have done it mysel through lazines and try and use it as a replacement. That's the reason I gave mine away
  7. Well I've tried that and yh they won't think twice but as soon as they get bit they let go and havin no back up spew
  8. jeppi I have already made that suggestion you also suggested it would never do the sharp end because it didnt before which is a load of bollocks ... you can re-enter dogs on quarry the right way and theres a good chance it will do it properly well iv tried that and im certainly one to give a dog a chance and it never worked out for me .I mostly hunt foxes so a dog that wont do it on their own aint any good to me .It costs just as much to feed a good onne then a bad one JMHO I've tried it aswell scent and I'm yet to see it work
  9. The dog has his uses! true I myself wouldn't even attempt to put him on things that bite back knowing his history he would be for lamping rabbits only and just take him out mooching he would be useful for me Were in Plymouth are you pal just interested in the distance plymouth is only 4 miles from one end to the other mate
  10. jeppi I have already made that suggestion
  11. Perhaps this is the reason he's both been passed from pillar to post and still up for grabs... of the 3 working homes he has had only one lad actually tried him for what a bullx is bred for and he was an ass biter, I also seen him catch in the dark one night and he didn't do what a bullx should BUT he isn't bad behind a bunny and if you read the article and the penny drops that's about gyp/jip. He can catch bunnies to a fair standard but paul he will never like the sharp end.
  12. My little bitch won't pick up squatters because she ran into a rock one night thinking it was a squatter
  13. hellyer forgot to mention that the dog shouldnt be taken on if you want a 100% single handed bull cross as that is something he will never be. ive seen this dog from puppy to know so know exactly what he will and wont do and he will suit someone who is only really interested in edible game atb 123456

  18. down here you cant run them daytime as you cant find em unless beagling and then they aint always that easy on the lamp when your in a field with 4-5 gates on it
  19. Brassring I may be wrong and correct me if so but are you the lad that has a little fawn bitch about 23-24. I'm sure I met you at the buckfastleigh show a few years ago and thought you knew vince and the like.
  20. Well it sounds very like they are accusing boss but if I've got the wrong end then I apologise
  21. Whether the two guys in question did or did not use them is irrelevant as far as I'm concerned because if you look at there history they have been two of the best at everything they have done and his fathers line of terriers in one case has never been something to laugh at
  22. I've seen you put up posts telling stories whin so why are you having a go at this lad
  23. Should be a good day, think ill bring the bullx
  24. 3/8 is perfect as far as I'm concerned but the percentage doesn't make a difference anymore as most being bred are crap to crap producing crap so wether 1/2 or 1/128 it will more then likely not have the tenacity it should. I do agree with simoman to a certain extent but think 1/4 is as low as I would or will go
