    Seen this a few times with collies picking there runs, its frustrating will only give it there all when the think they can catch it

    Every pup is different but for me i like to start them at 8or9 months old but be careful don't give them anything that's to hard make sure they are in with a good chance of catching them

    i wouldnt give them up mate not a lot about where i live but there never has been we still go out and make the best of what we see !

    where i live there is always sightings of big cats by local dog walkers ramblers and mountain bikers , but ive walked the same places where they are seen day and night for the past 25 years with dog and gun and never seen anything that i didnt know what it was !

    my dog 18 months old works day and night off the lead hes never been on the lead for months

    i use a mk 3m collar and locator and find the depth is never accurate its always way less than what it says it is ! The deeper it is The more un accurate it is if it reads 8 feet it will be 6 feet but if it reads 2 feet it will only be 1 foot but when you have used it a few times you get used to it and can guess it accurately so its not realy any problem

    ive never done it myself but a mate has bolted 4or5 foxs from rabbit holes over the years with no injurys to the ferrets ! All ive bolted from rabbit burrows apart from rabbits is rats stoats and one mink

    cut the cigarette connector off the battery and solder the two wires from the battery to the two wires from the lamp and it will work fine

    feed all my pups on beta puppy never had any problems with it and i know a few other lads that have done the same, then when they are up a bit on to beta greyhound or red mills or similar mixed in with a bit of barf

    haha if i supplie the lunch it will be eaten well before we get there !

    most xs can catch rabbits , the most important thing i think is to get it fit and to show it plenty of rabbits the more you show it the better it will get , yes some xs will be better than others but they will all do it, for me something like colliewhippet x grey would do nicely

    dont worry what cubs says hes only at the wind up you get used to his pish after a while , and your right im not a fan of ferreting in the rain and Aaron hates the rain a lot more than me , and yes i hope we can get another day sorted for coming up very shortly

    haha half a ton ! quarter ton would be a realy good day ! Where i live to get 50 rabbits would take many days/night out , on the lamp down here on a realy good night i might see 10 rabbits and if the dog gets half of them im delighted ha ha hope your dogs on form for Sunday then lad mind yir flask ) if this rain keeps up its a wet suit i will need not a flask !

    yes i know what you mean it appears to be wild ground that no one bothers about but as ive said before all ground in the UK is owned by someone there is no such thing as common ground that anyone can just go and hunt on

    you have to get the land owners permission to hunt rabbits or you are breaking the law ! All land is owned by someone !
