It`s the old saying not what you know but who you know and its not rocket sceince is it to do vermin control flip the grit trays and keep beaters in line on shoot days. And he was on a shoot this year that got 5000 birds so he knows a bit atb Jamie I guess you dont have any grouse exp either then. it may not sound like rocket science to you, grouse keeping isnt chicken farming. in the spring we're flat out 20 hour working days. you cant just buy in more grouse if they get eaten, every fox, every stoat, every weasel has to be accounted for. it takes determination and most people couldn't

Wm have you ever dug delamere forest area ? The only reason i ask is my dad has had most of the land round that area since i was a we boy with one of his good friends Danny Forde who sadly died a few weeks ago.
