    I dont know if the D3 system comes with a carry pouch but, If like me,you have bought a transeiver that does not come with a carry pouch go down to tesco for a camera case.I have just bought a Tesco Active camera case, that my Ortovox Patroller fits into perfectly, for £3.47.

    I have got the Ortovox Patroller handset and it works with the other company`s collar perfectly .

    I used my Ortovox Patroller reciever,and another manufacturers collar, on 2 digs today,and guess what?,it does exactly the same as "the tried and tested box" but for £87 cheaper .Both boxes were put side by side,whilst locating the dog,and there was no difference in the readings.£87 less for something that does the same ,its not that hard is it

    I would say that,at a rough estimate, the very best of the very best are free, and the rest are very expensive

    the pulse,as they say,is the dogs bollox.I have got the Ortovox Patroller box and it works fine and saves a packet over the "big names".Once everyone gets to grips with the thought of other firms doing this type of gear i think the "main stream" are going to struggle

    Looks the business that collar levs,should keep the ortovox nice and safe .I am glad to see people are now using alternative units and suppliers, it will keep all the others on their toes .After lengthy discussions with wilf and selwyn i opted for a ortovox patroller box that does the job perfectly and saved me a packet over the well established firms ,and i like saving money

    I personally know one of the terrier judges,a professional terrierman,and he is a straight as a die .There is no way he would pick a dog because of its owner

    It sounds a good idea in theory mate,keep us informed .I recently attended the RVWTC meeting regarding terrier thefts to try and put some ideas together.Without a doubt the internet,and texting,is the fastest way to get the word around once dogs have been stolen,magazines and papers can be a week or even a month behind the thefts .I contacted the admin,or owners,of several Uk based hunting sites to suggest a "pop up" type alert system similar to the "pop ups" you get when you visit porn sites , or so i have been told .For example Joe bloggs gets up at 6am to see his dogs have been stolen,

    I would like to think so.The more companies that bring equipment out the better for us.The market is now smaller than years ago,due to people packing in due to certain restrictions,but a market still exists for the companies that produce these items.If we can get top notch equipment from one cheaper than the other than we will all be happy. Lets face it these new "avalanche" type detectors are not cheap but should the retailers "up" their prices because "terrier men can`t put a price on their terriers?", where do you draw the line? .I know My kids would be safer on the school run in the back

    i saw quite a few guys there with cameras so there should be a few pictures out there and,considering the weather,it was a good turn out of dogs.Good to meet you strong stuff.
