Should the price of lurchers be more than it actually is. I think yes. When you see them advertised for likes of £ and such it means anyone can afford to get there hands on them when they take a notion for a hunting dog. Some put no time in them and when the notion wears off its swapped for a air rifle or the likes. Even the average £150 is very cheap for a lurcher. If the price was a more i think it would put off alot of the 1season wonders off. For example say the starting price was £300. I think more people would do there homework on a litter of pups, finding out about the working abilities

I picked mine up on Saturday. There was mine there and a litter mate and I can honestly say I haven't seen pups in as good a condition as these were. We sat down and went through there breeding and the more we spoke about the relatives and pictures I was shown of them the more I couldn't believe they were only £200!! A steal in my eyes for quality bred pups with outstanding bloodlines and well reared from birth. There a credit to you Ian.

Cheers guys,i could have had half a dozen dogs in the kennels the past couple if years if I had believed half the bullshit some of the guys have told me when iv been to see pups. It's opened my eyes up to what's actually out there and it's a shame. Im back in the lurcher game for good now and making sure I keep in touch with the decent guys.

Got the pup home today and I couldn't be happier with it. Had a cup of tea and chat and the basics are certainly in place for her. Down to me now but iv got high hopes for this one. The pups are a credit to the guys

Managed to get a pup from these bud thanks for the heads up as they wouldv passed me by. The breedings all in place anyway.

Think so, one is a couple of hours away and the other Is 6 hours away. Haven't made a 100% decision yet but it's out those 2 at the minute. 1s a pup from the " not long now thread"

Seriously been looking for bout 2 year mate.. Gave up the dogs about 6 year ago but wanting back into it. I can't go another season without a dog so I'm needing to stop being as fussy and just take a chance on one.

I know iv put this up before but I'm still looking for a pup. Because I used to get dogs from people I knew and seen the parents work I knew what I was getting. Been to see a few litters and to many things or got the wrong vibes. Seems theres more jokers than serious dogmen breeding now. I know only to well when decent dogs were bred most were spoken for before breeding took place. so to be a pest and post this topic again. Anyone got any pups for sale lol?

Think that's what I'm gonna do. Thr reason I asked fit pictures was more for the cosmetic side, I was thinking about building up a couple of course of brick then sit the run on top or go for the full height galvanised panels.

I was going to build a separate run bug now I'm thinking of joining it onto my garage and having acces through the garage to the bedding area.

Fs you've alot of spare time on your hands. The last couple of year slots went in so haven't got round to building yet. That was a good post for basics but I'm wanting to see actual set ups. Seems everytime I decide what I want I see someone else's kennel and ideas and change my mind again. I'm sure there's been a few new people in the last 2 year joined that are willing to put pics and ideas up.

The new build Is starting this spring for my new kennels. Got a rough idea what him going to do but iv got a blank canvas so was wondering if some guys could post pics if there kennels and set up and see if I can get any wee ideas from. Appreciated guys
