  8. Looked at treadmills, thought they were a good idea. I can get them out the back park on my crutches for a run around but it's a nightmare if someone else comes along with a dog. Wvm is right, if I want them properly kept fit I'm gonna need to spend money. Once I'm back walking I'm wanting to get straight out lampin.

  10. Iv recently injured my leg and looking at Being in plaster for up to 8 weeks then Pysio after that. Iv got my pup at 7 n half month which I don't mind holding off but I took an older dog off a mate who wasn't working her to bring my pup on and start the season with. Gradually I was bringing her fitness up but now my legs busted she won't be getting any work soon. I don't want to give her acknowledged for her to lie in a kennel and not get out at all. iv had mates and family saying theyl come round and take them out but as usual no one has appeared lol.   11. Is a chicken carcass cooked in the oven okay to give dogs? I heard it was only if boiled then you shouldn't feed the dogs the bones
  12. My season has ended before it started mate. Torn my archilles tendon thro the week. Gonna be in plaster for weeks then need physio to strengthen the tendon. Probably won't be doing anything till December, Gutted especially with a pup to bring on. All the best with your season anyway mate. Those pups are crackers.
  13. Nice dog chid. Yeah both are more than capable of being allrounders. A lot has to do with the parents and their working ability. Just looking to hear from people who run then or even better have owned both xs
  14. What are your thoughts on these 2 crosses and what one would you prefer for an all rounder for yourself. Iv got a saluki bull grey to run this season and I'm hoping she fills the all rounder spot for me. Who all runs the collie cross and can you tell me how they cope. Thanks
  15. I think I was lucky where the rupture was at the top of the ligament. If it was lower there would be less blood flow to heal it better. So I was told anyway.my new sport hobbies will be darts or snooker lol
  16. The operation mentioned there would be a scar on my heel and with wearing boots everyday at work and walking the doctors thought it might irritate the scar. If it goes again I'll get the op (hopefully it doesnt)
  17. Haha that's exactly what I did. Hadn't played in 4 year. 1st game was 4 weeks ago and pulled my hamstring. Rested for the 4 weeks and that was me back on Wednesday. 20 minutes in and then I heard the snap while running. Thought someone had kicked my foot away from me from behind. Boots went straight in the bin aswell (outside bin to just to be certain lol) o want sore until last night when I could hardly sleep.for the pain in my heel.
