    Camping is available on the show field @ £5 per adult.

    I know it's all red tape but on the paperwork the same vet that does the docking is meant to do the chipping too and has to identify the pups as such so it would mean 2 trips. I did mention to the vet about taking them for free chipping elsewhere but she was still going to charge me £5 per signature per pup for the paperwork. Feel the free chipping is going out the window when it becomes law too.

    Is it the end of an era? With the new microchipping legislation coming in for every dog in April 2016 & the cost of having pups legally docked surely its going to be unfeasible to gift pups anymore or to expect them to be gifted. Just cost me £39 per pup to have both done, yes people may get it cheaper but it's now going to cost no matter what so the lads who've had them off me have had to cover that cost.

    I'm a russell man and I too thought the black was a better dog, in fact I thought there were better dogs not chosen than the winner but it's the judges decision not mine. The lad what had champion also won the pup champion with a strong looking russell dog, which in my eyes again was a better dog than the overall winner but obviously that can't qualify.

    Last year JP was a judge He did get reserve this year and deserved it in my eyes with a nice strong black dog.

    This years NWTF championship finals will be held at the Midland Game Fair on Sunday 20th September & for the foreseeable future.

    We now have qualifiers for all you racing enthusiasts for the Cornish lurcher & terrier championship and the NL&RC racing/simulated coursing championship.

    We have a "Any other breed" terrier class which a beddy could go in but if a few turned up (which is very rare) we'd put a class on for them.

    Just stripped my young bitch, she's 10 month old on Friday, got another 2 to do now.

    Received our additional new trophies for this years show to add to the one's pictured above. The cups are for our new Welsh Counties Champion of Champions for Terrier, Whippet & Lurcher. The shields are for our Russell Champion & Coloured Champion with adding extra classes for russells & separate rings.

    Dogs marked a place on Wednesday, mate said do you fancy a 10 footer, my answer - why not we're here, dropped my Russell dog in, got a steady mark after about 5 minutes, dropped down to him and a vixen at 1.1 said I was poxy for some reason

    I use a longish chain as a lead with a small mountaineering type clasp, can be fastened round just about anything even large trees plus the dogs won't chew 'em and enter unnecessarily.

    Either re-do it Waz or put a skin on top but needs to be at least 1 1/2" to 2" or frost will just lift it. Don't use ballast, use a strong cement mix with sharp sand, put some profiles down tapered slightly towards the drain to tamp off.
