    Good points there. Ive not had any problems not using a locator but i guess my luck might run out at some point. I'm definitely not one of those people who disregard ferrets, each one of my Hobs cost me £60 to get castrated and I've got 3 and a Jill who's spayed. I value my ferrets and wouldn't want to lose one. For me ferreting is a sport, a nice way to spend the day with the dog(soon as her legs better) and a mate out doing what I enjoy. Money just seems to be the main factor in most things now. After your comments I've just Posted my locator off to mick Dadds to get fixed

    What's your opinions on using/ not using a locator and collar? I've only used or once and then the fecker stopped working so now I work without. Not had any problems not using one. I sometimes just take 1 ferrets and a few nets on a mooch and never had a problem(touch wood). If I do go with the gang then i make sure im prepared to wait it out and I've got the time to do so. Longest I've waited was 60min with joe67 off here on a nice warm day. Obviously I'd prefer to use one but when you look at the cost £100+ and then add on the extra cost of collars then a nice cheap sport turns into

    2" far too wide for a whippet mate. I've got a similar collar here, 1.5" wide and that's a bit too wide for her. 1.1/4" wide and no studs and that would be spot on. Thumbs up

    Had similar when I first got ferrets. Floor fell through, flimsy built And crap quality. I've got a made hutch, 3 tier with small holes for ferrets and no rabbits. If your on a budget then go for what you can afford. Better than some.

    Hi mate. How wide is this collar? If you made them around 1.1/4 inches wide that would be perfect. Don't like the studs on it mate but I suppose if I wanted One I could get it made to my specifications. Your doing well mate. Whippet sizes are around 10.5-13inches. Definitely getting better bud.

    Whin how can you come on here and put my dog down? When you last seen her she was 4 months old,Just out of a a cast, been sedated on and of for the last week or so and leg was still broken. She's now 7 months and looking good. Sure she broke her left leg and then chipped the bone out of her right leg, both BACK LEGS. but thats life. No need to put her down at all.

    You got it right about ss collars ain't everybody's cup oftea and whippets better off with a cheap £8 collar etc. Didn't mess him about at all mate. Never ordered anything off him at all so therefore couldn't mess him about. Can't be arsed talking about it. Does my head in, picks and chooses depending on what mood he's in. I've bought loads of stuff off here, never messed anybody about, sent out free stuff and sold stuff Too. I'm done with this.

    1"- too thin for anything apart from terrier types. 1.5"- ok for meduim-large type lurchers. 2"- bull x's, strongdogs etc. AND THATS IT. wheres the flexibility? 1.1/4" for whippet types? if you aint got a strongstuff collar your dog aint worth sh!t

    you do realise you contradicted yourself there. maybe so. ill re phrase it then: the collars themselves are good quality, taking the piss, some of his collars look like neck braces, just look at the dog in the second pic good quality, made by an ABSOLUTE KNOB! im proud to be british but id rather buy off a raghead
