    my dad swears by dr johns. he used it when he had boxers and worked them all over the country at trials and now with the gsd's. i would use it but.......guess...the pups got an iffy stomach had to feed her a 'hypoallergenic' dog food. harringtons was by far the cheapest. the lab eats wagg, had her on the worker but shes a fat cow! puts on weight like feck. shes dieting now shes starving! once this bag of harringtons is finished i think it will be dr johns, they only get a couple of handfulls a day, mainly the minced meat

    raw meat with harringtons as a mixer. egg, pasta, fish, veg. and cod liver tablets everyday.

    I take on board what everybody says. I understand the way whin sees things, he is just like my father is. The negative comments are actually his way of advice and encouragement. It's hard not to take what he says to heart, I Know the wee dogs not the greatest Built, not the best type nor has she had the best start but I've got faith in her. After what I said on another thread about not wanting to take help from whin, I apologise for that. Just caught me at a bad time.     From what I've been told, ped whippets are a lot smaller than their non ped counterparts. Non ped are the whippet version on linford christie, bred down greyhounds, a lot taller than ped whippets but smaller than greys. Good for a lot of things, racing, working but I'm sure from what I've seen, take a little bit longer to reach speed than a ped(shorter legs, quicker acceleration) and maybe not as agile as a ped. Dont know if I'd get a ped whippet again, non ped or whip x grey sounds like my next choice.

    From what I know when they're fcuked there finished. Can't be fixed due do them being coated in resin. Mick Dadds is the guru on mk1's and he can't repair them, just makes new ones.

    Ferreting can cost next to Nothing if you get gifted the ferrets, walk to the permission, make Your own nets. Only Cost would be nets. On the other hand it can mount up, locators/ collars/ extra collars, buying ferrets, eu polecat pish, buying nets, long nets, spade, ferret box, petrol money.... Don't even mention the ferreting dog that goes with it Upto you how much you spend. Pretty low cost to me, boxes, nets and a locator(getting fixed= more money) there is the £££££ and more ££& I've spent on vets bills for the ferreting dog though.!!!! Went out today with 1 ferret
