  1. Ideation, be sure that that exact though is at the forefront of my mind like a bad itch. She broke one leg getting it trapped between 2 slabs of concrete, freak accident. The other chip was from banging it off a tree stump. Very very unlucky. Nothing wrong with her bones, had all the tests done, spent the £££ to do the best by her and don't mind spending more to get her right. She will be out doing what I intended and if she goes down with another bad one then that's it- she will be a pet and nothing more. Won't get another until (touch wood) she passes and it will be something with a bit
  2. Let him know people have pm'd him mate and to get in touch.
  3. Thanks for the replies. That's the response and answers I was hoping for.
  4. Nobody is going to tell you mate. Your stealing their business don't forget
  5. Hi guys. Got a 7month old whippet here, she's been out a few times ferreting before the first injury, whilst recovering from the first she chipped the bone in the other leg and is now just starting very short/slow lead walks. That's in total around 13 weeks of her life so far spent either caged/ in the house or on short walks. She won't be out ferreting again until feb/ march maybe even April time and she will be 12 months come may. My question is how old it too old to get her out learning her game? I'm panicking here thinking she will be too old to teach/ learn etc her retrieve is pre

  7. You cheeky, skirt wearing, tatty throwing, bagpipe blowin, haggis chasing b@stard haha
  8. It's whins way or the Highway. No time fr Shivery rag dogs, who gives a Fcuk what he thinks. Whippets in or out, working 6 nights a week or the weekend ferreting. Doing the job the owner wants them too. Whippets make most dogs look like they've got a turning circle of a bus. And that's with 2 broken legs.
  9. Don't have anything to do with kennels mate but a mate of mine and his son built one out of wood and mesh, looked the business and if you build it yourself then you know the quality. Also there was a company at scone who made galvanised runs, looked really good quality. Another option would be to pm gafer. He's got some set up, best I've seen.
  10. I'm English, lived in Scotland for the past x amount of years. I sit nicely on the fence English c*nts
  11. It's all about the ££££££
  12. you forgot getting the post and seeing you have an ss collar oh wait lol That one must have slipped my mind
  13. When I was younger maybe 13 years old there was a lot of fake £2 coins going about around where I lived. I had been spending them every night in the chinky, buying all my mates big buffets for about 2 weeks. The Chinese must have gone to cash them and realised that they had about £100 Worth of fake £2 coins. I went in as usual and ordered the buffet for 6 or whatever it was. Chinese man came from the side door with a bamboo stick and caned me ad the lads out te door ad halfway up the street while we were throwing fake £2 coins at him
  14. Simple things: getting a hot meal after being on rations for 6months. Seeing my wee boy after being away again for 6months and him saying 'dada' Putting your freezing cold hands on a nice warm radiator. When your about to drop, crawling up the stairs, fluffing up your pillow and Ahhhhh zzzzzzzzzzzzz Lots of things really. Big one for me was feeling the planes wheels hit British soil after the last tour of afghan and thinking 'thanks fcuk I made it through that'
  15. Always allowed out. I'm no you
  16. Hi, I'm after a cheap lurcher or whippet work book. Been away lately so after something to read. Cheers
  17. Unnecessary suffering? Were talking about ferrets killing rabbits, not tying the rabbit up and skinning it alive. What happens in the wild when a polecat kills a rabbit? I do get what your saying though, no need to up the tone Jamie. People have different views and I've seen on this post the benefits of a locator so mines off to get fixed. Doesn't mean I won't go without one again. I'm going for a bit tomorrow without, and will do until mine comes Back. What happened in days gone by when I wasn't even on this planet? Locators, collars weren't even around? Is that still unnecessary suffe
  18. Ordered the pink diamonte one with matching lead and tassels. Only joking. I've ordered the plain whippet collar, not lined, in dark brown. They're the only collars I have seen that have the D loop close to the buckle so when the dogs on the lead the widest part of the collar is at the front and not on the side like her collar is now. Cost £20, will see how it is when I get it. I did want a lines one but I've got an unlined one on her now and it's fine so thought I would go with what I know. One I've got on her now was £4 from the greyhound rescue, excellent qualit
  19. Rabbit numbers don't matter to me, 1 rabbit or 100. Wouldnt get a locator just for rabbit numbers only for ferret safety like has been said.
  20. Sent pm regarding whippet book but no reply but says read?
  21. Waiting for my collar from Hide and collars to Arrive
