    Funny you should say that about the Mouse. Before my pup got injured she killed a couple just on a lead walk. Got a picture ony Phone with her with it. Will Post it when I get a chance

    Not everybody has the Privilege of knowing people with working lurchers or the contacts to buy one. I sure didn't and done the best with what resources I had. Bet there's a good number of working dogs out there from non-working parents or from rescue centres doing the job. One way I look at it(and this is only my opinion) is that a small amount can be passed down from Parents but it's what goes into the dog, the hours and what you do with it.     I agree with price but them again there's a guy there local to you that would give the pup a decent home(so he says) and you would be able to see it and get feedback and stay in touch etc. Maybe if you spoke to the guy and sorted something out then it would be a win win situation.

Agree with you there spike, only so many designs, think if you made a simple whippet collar gafer, just the traditional style and padded it etc. Would be worth £20 or so I Would guess.     Whin your reply is a perfect example of what I posted. If people don't take new guys out and teach them the ropes then there won't be any dog men left when your not able to do it. What are people that don't have contacts meant to do? Stick to football and sniffing coke? Or try and get a dog, learn as they go and get out with more experienced dogmen and learn the trade. Like I said. Things change, I'm not clueless, I know quite a bit. Just need help with getting out there and the best way to do it is to tag along. I'm not afraid of graft.     It WAS a nice one If anyone passes the shop pop in and see if its still for sale if I had 100 billion quid in the bank I still wouldn't spend more than about 20 or 30 quid on a dog bed, what's the f'ckin point. WHAT A STINGY B@STARD YOU ARE

    i can tell you whats wrong with this site. too many people think they have the business, whether it be ferreting, dog or equipment. somebody posts a thread to sell a dog and it get jumped on 'PEDDLAR' etc. new people to this site ask questions and they get shot down. yeah some questions are stupid but then they mustnt know the answer or they wouldnt be asking? if there wasnt new people to the sport then the sport would die out with the golden oldies on here. i think there are a lot of people who dont want to help other people out, they do thier own thing with their own crowd and thats

    i dont right i have to learn my sellf ve becuase no one wonts to helpp any one out on this site all people are bothad about is pulling you down and taking the piss its a descrace this site now nothing like it used to be i agree with you there mate. some genuine people on here and then some that only want to pull you down. i do see where relic is coming from. your making a collar identical to his but IMO you need a template to work off. maybe take his advice and try and come up with a few of your own designs. be a task in itself but then you would be able to chop and change it to suit.

    SS at the end of the day, you wouldnt sell me a collar because you got out of bed the wrong side or didnt get enought butter on your crumpets. thats fine. no worries there relic, you undoubtedly make some of the finest leather collars there is, definitley want one of your collars but with it being christmas money is a bit short at the minute mate. gafer has only been trying his hand at these it seems and obviously needs a template to work off. if its not fully finished then maybe he doesnt know how to finish it off.

    Do first aid on A regular basis. It's a different sort of first aid out in afghan but we do it all. Used it for real out there and about 14 months ago an old lady was choking in kfc and nobody knew what to do. We could see her choking through the glass and we ran in to help her.She was pretty shook up and we got a mention in the paper. Definitely glad I know first aid and tbh NHS 24 is a life saver with a young baby. When I had him on my own the odd nights I had them on speed dial. Whats this rash, he's hot etc. They rely on us so much.

    I think you will find that it was somebody else Dropping your name into the thread. I was merely giving my opinion and gaffer giving His. I mean ffs, picking faults in gafers collars to make yourself feel better. The guys only been making them a few weeks. Enough said. Gafer, great collars mate and I'm sure you will sell a good few.

    Mine are indoors. Take them out, bring them back,hose them off. Leave them in the conservatory to dry off and then they're back inside. Better inside IMO

    Picking on a 16 year old ffs! Bet they wouldn't pick on a 16 year old hanging about on street corners smoking weed. No, they'd rather pick on the one that's saved up his money, caring for and training his ferrets and out doing nobody any harm. People have got their priorities all wrong!
