    I noticed today my 12 month whippet bitch is slightly bleeding. Now this is her first season and I'm looking for a bit of advice. Firstly, how long will her season last? Think the labs ins roughly 2 weeks so is a first season heavier, Longer? Within the next 2 weeks Theres a gamefair and the whippet racing. Now I know the whippet racing clubs policy is that no bitches in season are to attend but what about the game fair? Will I be ok to take her round there? What about letting her run the lure at the fair? Thanks in Advance

    Yeah good day today. Rain wasn't bad and the weather was good To us I would say. Could have been worse. I will be back next year. What happened to 'sporting dogs' me and rm2508 passed him on the A701 heading back towards Edinburgh

    Stick me down for one too. What about 3 dogs and a child? In a5 size? I'm aware it would be more expensive etc but that's not a problem for a good piece of work. Could you do that? A friend of mine is coming to take Some good quality photos of my dogs and my young son once the pups grown a bit and I would like one of the ones he takes drawn up.     She's only young and learning. If they're muzzled in proper racing then they should be muzzled in the racing at the shows. If you know your dogs aggressive then don't race her. I don't. Maybe I didn't write it properly on the first post. I was referring to the actual racing. The dogs just young like I said and only ran again mates dogs who are clearly faster than her. 9 tines out of 10 she's fine. I don't run her at the shows, only on her own but I was making the point that everybody would say 'aye, my dogs Fine' and you have to trust it. Then 200m away they're going hell for le

    they wont be running i'm afraid , had a lot of good valued points of dogs not wearing muzzles , that normally dont fight , but can , when gee'd up , will , so it's a certain way to stop any fighting Quite right den. Shows like this bring people together that don't know each other let alone their dogs. Heat of the moment etc. I know one of my dogs doesn't like being overtaken and will have a go so won't run her unless they're all Muzzled. For her own safety more than anything else.

    That footage in the day on part 2. The theiving cnut looks like he keeps on going to the door as if to his someone with the hammer, and there's talkin etc. What's going on there? Some cheek if he's trying to take the dogs while the owners at the front door!

    So mine aren't the only tw@ts! I got a kennel around 4 weeks ago, it's not the biggest tbh for the 3 dogs but they stay inside all the time and the kennel is for when they're wet, when we have a BBQ to stop the hungry b*****ds getting a boot for nicking food and when we go out so were not rushing back. So I got it, put it up and then painted it. Looking smart! The fooking pup has been on w chewing mission, no amount of bones, toys, chews etc has deterred her. I've bought strips of steel from b&q and put them up on the main edges but then she finds a new spot which is now the door

    I've just posted this on a thread but just thought I'd put it up here. I've got nothing to do with this in just posting this on behalf of the organisers of glamis. There is no lurcher/terrier show or racing at glamis this year due to whoever ran the show previous years not being able to make it this year. After I ordered my tickets via the phone she expressed that she would really like to have a working dog show at glamis this year but doesn't know or have the contacts to provide one herself. She was dissapointed to see the working dogs dropped from the festivals schedule and a

    no a necessity , but if theres an agressive dog well yes it needs to be after lots of phone calls, muzzles are a necessity and must be worn , fialure to wear muzzle , no race Spot on

    i ordered tickets for glamis and asked the lady why there was no lurcher/ terrier show. she replied that the poeple who run/ organise the dog show backed out at the beginning of this year. she hasnt been able to find anybody else that can run a show and is really dissapointing that she hasnt got one this year. if anybody knows anybody that would like to run a working dog show/ racing at glamis then she said please feel free to ring/email her and she will sort it out with you. still 5 weeks left until the festival to sort it out. catriona: 01250 875 712 email: office@scotlandscountrys
