  1. I seen on here a while back. A video of coursing, think it was the Waterloo cup and it had a few videos in it where spectators were slipping their own dogs during the course. I've looked and looked but can't find it? It was on a post. Cheers
  2. We tried to run the lure but one lure was too heavy and caused too much drag when wet so was too slow, the other, light lure was burrowing in the grass and the dogs couldn't see it so called it a day after half an hour and took the dogs a walk. Cracking pics of the dogs running through the water. Better than them sat on the couch
  3. Yes, Grahams machines are the dogs bollox. I've had mine out nearly every weekend or in the week and it's superb.
  4. Take popcorn on Sunday and sit in the train station. I seen some of them crawling off the trains last year, tents ripped to pieces, clothes caped in mud and soaking wet. Tripping out their box and that was a good year, feck knows how it will be this year
  5. Anybody camouflage their rifle? I've seen a few who have done it and it looks super smart but don't suppose you need it for lamping out the motor Any pics?
  6. They're a real piece of art but would imagine they're uncomfortable to wear. Or am I missing the point, are they just ornamental Presentational pieces? Seen a program on tv called 'four rooms'. An Edinburgh tour guide had a wallet made out of human skin. The skin from The back of the hand William Burke. Strange them Edinburgh folk like
  7. Back in from an hour with the dog

  8. I've got a pup here, her tail is long as feck! Can reach to her chest
  9. Paracord is strong as feck, we made bracelets the same when we were away. Can you put pics up of the collars and fastening? I've only had experience of a clip fastening and a knot fastening. For a super strong Paracord collar the clip/ knot fastening would make it weak. I've never seen a Paracord collar but the leads look decent. Would be interested in a collar if you can put pics up of fastenings mate
  10. the pup is a saluki/ grey x collie whippet grey. very similar to the colour of the dog in your picture. yeah RM, i was happy with her progress, she isnt going to be the most outgoing dog there is but aslong as she isnt timid then everything else is workable. dogs enjoyed the few hours on the lure, if we modify a few things then it will be spot on. the pup seemed interested in the lure and enjoyed her 10 yard play about with it p.s that lab x is mental aint she! GAME AS FECK if she was a bit faster she would put all them dogs to shame
  11. The one I caught was probably a mile or less from your work. The one i caught was in his work while he was sleeping on duty
  12. Gain28 is £15 a bag. Chicken carcasses Are 60p a kilo. Hardly expensive. I feed my 3 ( including a pup) for about £25-£30 per month.

    The lottery

Anybody ever won a substantial amount on the lottery or know anybody that has? My landlord won £320,000 on a stake at work and that was split between 6 of them, £325,000 each that is! Imagine if he would have won it on his own! He drives around in an old clapped out micra and has feck all of it left. Said when he won he was going to the shops for a packet of chewing gum, giving the shop workers a £20 note and telling her to keep the change!
  14. Sounds like a very Intriguing lifestyle mate. I'd like to hear more + more pics
  15. What was it? The link doesnt work.
  16. And let me use your mincer to mince them eh! Good guy!
  17. Theres a 'timetable' somewhere on that website. http://www.haddingtonshow.co.uk/Timetable.htm Says dog show is 2pm at the north end of the main ring. Lurcher and terrier racing 'culminating in a race between lurchers and falcons'. As long as the dog gets a run
  18. I walk the dogs everyday on a route and round a running track for the horses. I give them about 30mins free running on this track. I didnt even think there was a benefit to it although in the past few weeks I have seen an improvement in my bitch and her leg doesn't ache like it used to. Whether it's to do with the track or not I dont know but I'm moving house in 6 weeks so I'll be able to tell you
  19. the only work his dogs do is breeding Lee Wish that was the only work I done mate
