  1. Think about the question rather than just agreeing.....a rabbit is around 3 lbs soaking wet and a Buck Roe would be 50 lb on the hoof, and a very strong animal,so if you snare it it is going to tear itself to feck trying to get away.....it's about common sense, and if you take it personal Leamo cos someone tells you what the law is then tough, because that IS why cannot do what you are asking, and that is all you need to know,so get yer bottom lip quivering again Bigman. I understand that mate, my point was that the bigger the animal, the more protection they get. You can kill a rodent in p
  2. you can hunt foxes , flush them to the gun . Think he means tearing them to bits
  3. I agree with you about the snaring issue - the difference is that a deer stirs more emotions than a rabbit, so my opinion is that a lot of these laws are quite selfish in nature in that people give a shit about certain species that they like, forgetting that when it's a living thing size is irrelevant. Not saying I agree with snaring deer but I know where you're coming from
  4. Well said SS, the mini Hitlers don't create the law and it isn't their job to amend it on a whim.
  5. Here you are lads, a good watch even if you think he's crackers

  9. Got a call from my FEO, got my interview next Wednesday. He sounded very upbeat about it, but asked me to get written permission as it will be in my favour, especially with regards to the .308 I will ask for an open ticket but see what they say I'm looking forward to it, I'll let everyone knows what happens.
  10. There is no scale as far as I`m concerned, The major rich tax avoiders are just as bad, but not being rich doesn`t make it acceptable to hide money rather than pay tax. It all comes out of somebody elses pocket in the long run. Yes it does rake, but who's pocket would that be then? Yours and mine.... Not the wealthy who's money is spread across the globe in a wilful attempt to avoid paying their way. So, the working class turn on each other because it's us who pick up the tab. In the last fiscal year I earned an extra £60. If you think I'm declaring that so the taxman can strip 33% of
  11. I know a guy in Longniddry who's a self employed sparky with 2 apprentices, he pays £800 a year to be VAT registered ie collecting tax and doing the books for the governments accounts, for every mistake he makes on the forms it's an automatic £100 fine. For doing their work for them

  13. Also, did you know that today is the day that the average taxpayer starts earning for himself? What an absolute joke... They want people to start spending but all I have is buttons and fluff in my pockets.

  15. But Phillip Greens ok with avoiding £289 million in takeover tax, followed by another god knows how many million. As well as the banks who are virtually all registered offshore Yet if I earn £50 for a days work once every couple of months and don't declare it, im a cnut....
  16. I don't know about anyone else cookie, personally I work and always have but over the last few years my opinions changed a lot. What about tax evasion? The guys who don't declare every single penny of their earnings? ''When the poor commit robbery, it's called violence. When the rich steal, it's called business.''
  17. So WILF whats the pinprick numbers in £s in benefit fraud £3.2 billion for 2011/2012 in overpayments due to fraud and error. Compare that to: More than £31 billion has been wasted by government departments in the past two years because civil servants lack the skills to negotiate better contracts with the private sector, it emerged last night. That's not including defence, justice, banks, MP's ripping us off, EU etc etc etc etc etc etc etc etc etc etc etc................
  18. The police said ''Dont read too much into it'', but there has to be 'reasonable suspicion' to arrest in the first place If they wanted to question them they could have done so. The only innocent reason I can think of is they want to interview them separately, without them cooking a story up, see if they can trip them up.
  19. And peas pudding and stotties
  20. Haggis roll with brown sauce. Get it up ye.
