    i was with a hunt in shrops and we marked one in , 3 of us digging well two of us watching as it was sand and my cousin who digs like a JCB is soon down about 5 foot and he starts uncovering hide and hair and bones a lot of bones we teased him he had found a camel lol , turns out it was the grave of a load of cattle and pigs from a foot and mouth out break decades earlier, we got 4 fox out of the bone earth

    problem with cubs is the mess they make so even the least interested farmer will see them, if they are killing stock they have to go end of but if they are not and your left to yourself , a big old smelly terrier allowed to dig in on for a chain length a piss on the hole at the same time and cut a nice square of turf this will have the vixen move them in to cover or a better hidden earth , and every one is happy

    Pablo esc i've never bred a rough choc but about 10-15 years ago my cousin digging and breeding partner at the time bred a few, he also bred my bitch tilly some come to hard but if you got a good one from him they where really good he let a few lads use his dog on bitches but they disappeared so he never knew how many if any pups came from those mating's so who knows

    Cheers Mosby, its all trial and error, i've bred good terriers together got very low % workers spent years rearing terriers which have failed at the job, but the ones you get that you could take any where and they would never let you down make it worth it , the biggest problem with this game is when you've been in it long enough to look like you know what your doing with the breeding your getting to old for the digging , although i've never been a fast digger , as i knew the dog would stay lol

    Nice Terriers DD no good worker grows on a tree they are all bred, most of these workers to workers came from a good line , information on the breeding not being known can come about for a few reasons someone wasn't interested or wasn't told the breeding and also sadly there ancestors where stolen... also there is a lot of shit bred from all lines or family's, and also terriers out there with paper work which is fiction

    i watched a program the other night on fighting bulls the bull used never saw the ring but he was used over 40 cows , because he was there type i should think up to 40 brothers may well of made it to the ring ,in the wild male animals cover dozens of females because they are the best producing the next generation both male and female the best survive and go on to breed if the best are that males sons and daughters they in turn will breed together, half brother half sister , brother sister father daughter and mother son , although likening battle breeds to working terriers is a way to prove b
