  1. Well done to both of you, I bet it wasn't an easy night.
  2. The right move , try the cci velocitor, very good indeed
  3. Correct , crombo chronographs are not accurate, I had 2 at the same time both giving false results, the discovery scope was useless, clear scope but you could not turn the sf or mag adjustments ( the gun shop no longer sells them because they had so many returned with faults, the impact was also faulty, more so after it came back from a so called tuner, if something is cack I say so !
  4. And I remember you singing the praises of the crombo chrono not that long ago , when I said they were cack! Make your mind up
  5. I've not really gave the hmr a good testing yet, it will be out hopefully this week if the winds drop a bit.
  6. I'm going to re-test them all, as I took the stock off the tikka to adjust the trigger pull & didn't have it sitting correctly back in the stock, I didn't even notice until I went to lock it away last night
  7. Let us know how you get on with them, they were mentioned to me today by a good friend who said if I see any get some !
  8. Cci subs at 112 yrds ! Sorted now
  9. I might get another practice session in today
  10. I'm still waiting on you to return a phone call ! Old age must have kicked !
  11. I ended up going out testing a few boxes yesterday afternoon, I took eley subs, cci subs, rws subs, cci stingers & cci velociter, the best of them was the cci velociter , then I would say the rws subs, cci subs were a close second. The pard 008 was not set for zero, just left it where I had It for the groupings, but the cci subs were ok at 50 yrds & 1 Mildot at 100yrds
  12. Sorted , got out there & done some testing Cheers
  13. New over to this side, recently gained my fac & sgc , Does anyone on here shoot a tikka t1x 22lr ? If so what ammo have you found that suits the tikka, when I purchased mine I bought elay subs & Winchester subs, to try first _ what sort of groupings should I expect at 50yrds & will the gun need bedding in before good groups are obtained, if the wind drops down I will be going out to test a few different ammo choices, hopefully to find something that suits. I'm hoping the 17hmr tikka t1x is not so fussy as that's sitting in the cabinet waiting to venture out aswell.
  14. Both using thermal, pulsar trail xq50lrf on the impact, pulsar apex xq50lrf on the uragan!
  15. I bet I didn't! Still just getting used to the hmr, but the 22lr has been out a few times ! Still doing ammo tests on them both
  16. I wasn't the only 1 shooting, there was 2 of us, but not a bad do for 3 hours
  17. Took advantage of the good weather, fields had been cut in the last couple of days, we managed to pick up 62, probably left a good 30 that we couldn't find , good company , uragan & impact used, Cheers for the invite Allan.
  18. You did well, that place certainly takes it out of you, it's pure hell, hills above hills, it's hard work even driving it, then the midges , good sport !
  19. Shooting sticks or quad sticks dump the bipod
  20. A good result Billy, a good session on the pigeons!
  21. Tikka t1x 22lr with pard 008 on it !
  22. I didn't realise that a normal swivel stud went inside the fitting ! So there won't be a problem
