  1. HW97 hands down for me. Although to get the best out ofhem they benefit from a home fettle or full on tune. Apparently the lgu out of the box is spot on, trigger is also not as good but as stated they are new out so time will tell
  2. I stripped a few mate and have had no issues you could try a little heat on the pin not sure on how the non removal method works though sorry

Im currently using a hw97 .177 tuned by Sandwell field sports topped with a mtc viper 10 x44 its running at 10.8 using jsb exacts 4.52 have not entered any comps as such but have shot a course or two using it it was the reason for the tune ;)currently compete using my pcp in club shoots, there a several lads who use various weirauchs hw98 97 95 77s also tx200 and prosports etc to good effect i had a 98 also spot on accurate just did not fit me even with the adjustable stock as standard . i opted for the 97 as it what i foun most comfortable for me having said that i brought a custom stock for

  9. Thats not good Steve for the amount you have to pay out. A simple sincere apology is sometimes all that is needed i agree. I have heard Daystate were pretty good with aftersales services etc. But with the recent lack of QC on newer rifles it no wonder the reputation is going down the pan. Its a shame because they are fantastic rifles. Glad its sorted though

  13. Have recently joined Mile oak shooting club we had a few hours with the springers with our own Gaz177 and Wurz. A fine evening of the usual banter and some cracking shooting from Wurz kneeling and hitting 45 yards spinners with ease including a bell target , We have a new nickname for Gaz 177 he is now Quasimodo for he was smacking the 45 yard bell target with ease repeatedly LOL.
