    can any one tell me the name of these nets. there like a purse net but bigger and close on both ends. i seen them on here before but cant find them now. thanks, marty.

    heres bobsy, works all game. good on hares , foxes and a great ferreting dog. i goes of ferreting mostly on me own. most the ditches round here are over grown, so i uses mostly stop nets. id be on one side of the ditch watching the nets on my side and he would be working the other side of the ditch watching the nets in there. very handy thats hes that way. and id have a terrier and two ferrets working the briers. heres a little fella we caught awhile ago be mistake while out on a walk

    Same reason a lot of Irish call female ferrets 'does'. what the f**k has the irish and them calling female ferrets "does" got to do with it? different countrys, different sayings. the lads across the water could say to us, why call female ferrets does. a doe is a deer.

    theres a lot a conmen out there, sell anything ta make a quick buck. ask em for a trial first and if they dont give you a trial for whatever reason then leave the dog there.

    the same here, as a kid whenever i was bored i would head down the field and have a craic and be proud as anything walking up the field with a bunny in me hand. i have me nephews he same way.they cant wait ta start up ferreting and going lamping again

    if anything, hunting reduses crime. the number one reason why all the youths are getting into trouble is outa boredom. there hanging out at street corners and have nothing ta do. now on the other hand if you have youths into hunting there down in the fields hunting away and doing no harm ta anyone

    try putting you dog on a lead and correct him when he trys to go for the ferret. the older the dog the harder ta train him. but youll get there in the end

    im really sorry bout your loss. its allways sad when you lose a dog. but like it or not these things happen in life. theres no sence and no pint in looking for revenge. its just an tragic accident.. as the old saying goes, it would be worst if it was a child.... back in the 90s i was coming back from a walk with the dogs. we had a sheet of wood up against the wall. one of my dogs banged into the board and the board fell and landed on my jr pup and killed him. i was gutted. but i didnt turn around an blame me father for puttin the board there. it was nobodys fault. it was just a tragic accid

    we had that prob before. what i done was filled up a bucket of lukewarm water and put a heap a bleach into it. went out at night, thron it at them and ran like f- -k back ta the house. it done the job anyway
