You say you have just got back in trigger you posted this at 12.27. It's not dark till 10.30 11.00. Me personally think all these people that say they so 6-7 nights a week are mistaking a WALK with a nights lampin.. I take my dogs for a walk every day but it's not moochin it's just a walk when the season is in I do 2-3 nights a week, my dogs wouldn't be able to do 6-7nights a week but that maybe my fault as most the times when I go lampin the s

dont you do the same thing in the day? seen plenty of dogs collapse from being slipped on stuff. whats graft in your eyes. Graft as nothing to do with how many times your out........FACT what is it then. Anybody can make a dog collapse by letting it run too much without enough recovery time. I know boys going out 5/6 times a week but only getting about 10 slips a night sometimes less.......would you call that grafting because I wouldn't.I graft my dogs hard most days up hills and mountains all day in my eyes they graft.

if i am only catching upto 20 rabbits a night my dog will go out 7 nights the week. i give my dog the odd nights off through out the season. i will rest him after i have had decent nights out top mid 30s, 40s and 50s the amount of rest depends on how hard hes had to work for the bag. buy being worked regular they seem to pick up less injurys. i even run my dogs on frozen ground.

anything from 1 mile.

to be honest my dogs are very rarely unfit as i always like to keep on top of there fitness, rather than let it go down hill then have to get it back. i walk for 2 or 3 hours most days with the dogs and i take them running with me when i go. i think loads of walking is good for stamina building. they do there fare share of breviting about on each walk which keeps them somewhere near.

i had a lurcher once that would fetch a egg back to me every time in one piece. every rabbit it caught it would also fetch back but the fecker would fold round your hand as it was smashed to shit. i was told once if a dog can fetch a egg back without breaking it then its soft mouthed, what a load of bollocks that turned out to be

i dont know how you stand but i think its more of a case of a male copper showing off in front of a female copper. they most probably would of nicked you if they could. should try mugging people in the future they wont hassle you if they think your slightly dangerous. WANKERS got feck all better to do.

almost all the unemployed dogs i know youve been out with and your dog are in two different leagues yours being in the lesser. you just havent done or seen enough to know the difference. theres more to it than you realise. I have got nothing to prove to anyone what my dog can and cannot do.Im pleased with him and the way he works and thats all that counts.I do not take pleasure in trying to run other peoples dogs into the ground,we are all in the same sport and its great to watch other types of dog work, regardless of who is employed or unemployed.I have not been in this game long, but enjoy

Other than being a whippet . . . . . . But aye, too true about the fecking breaking! never had any problems with the laguna breaking that i lamped all those rabbits with. and ive lamped on the same ground as my big dog. even the small whippets had been impresive with there lack of injurys. The one's I've seen have all gotten injuries, mostly little tears that on a whippet peel like a orange due to there lyrca like skin. Not saying they're shit because I know they ain't just wouldn't be my choice and the thing that would deter me from getting one is they wouldn't suit where I r

she was brought in as a full laguna and having seen a few since then i will say she is a full laguna. the dog in the pics is my dog as the whippet wasnt with me when i took the pics as it was the morning after. ive been out with 17" and 18" whippets and had bags in there 20s and even done a 31 thats running doubled with my dog again.( running dogs single handed and doubled up are 2 different stories.) but my point is they can have good stamina if you put the correct time into them.

hers a couple of pics of some nights out with my dog an a laguna whippet. run the dogs doubled up and the whippet was still running stong at the end of the night plenty of stmina at the time. 51 rabbits 52 rabbits

collie Xs are good dogs. but they can develop a habbit of picking and choosing there runs, which is something you dont really want if your on small fields with short grass an lightning fast rabbits imo. but at the same time they can be excellent if they dont pick up the collie traits. my dogs got a 1/4 collie in him, although i wouldnt change him for the world i will not be going down the collie route again anytime soon. the beddy/whippet great little dogs loads of prey drive can be handy both day and night. if its your first dog they can have a tendency to be a little head strong. yet ive -
never used them always put plenty of time into a dog when young to put the stamina in them from the start.
