  11. I've Located New earths by the Fact I have let Dogs work up cover....Some you would have missed If Dogs were constantly WALKED UP ! to known EARTHS ..which are not holding ,but if Dogs were loose,a new one Found not to far away....Somehow I always Believed ! Foxes Do ! dig New earths Some Dogs ,once of a Leash and not at the Entrance of a earth ...F***k off ! think that is the Problem with some not allowed to "HUNT" no control from their Handlers..Lack of confidence in their charges,so cover up with Macho pish ! maybe wrong I keep mine on a lead cause I dont want them going to ground
  12. always thought he was abit of a twat myself!
  13. Strong looking pair mate, hope they work out for you
  14. Same here alli, i always enjoy his articles and have looked up to the man since first started reading them a few years back. He's definetly got some very realiable dogs that have been tested week in week out id like to think ill still be doing as much as he does when im that age
  15. Great to hear that a few lads still keep them for what they were bred for, was yours out of workers alimac? what do you think of buying in stock from non proven stock, do they still have the instict of what to do and would it be worth a try?
  16. Agree with you 100% marshman, pups off whats left should be shared between the real working border enthusiasts free of charge and studs given out free of charge to get the breed back on its feet! and obi2 a shame you was to late to breed your old bitch, hopefully your 2 young ones will turn out good for you for you to start a line of working borders
  17. same here marshman! id love to keep and work a line of them myself one day but getting hold of a couple pups from working stock to start with will be easier said than done probably. it's prices like that that put me off buying in a few pups to try as its alot of money to be wasting if nothing was to come of them
  18. Nice to know that somebody's keeping them going mate are they off working parents then or did you take a gamble on a non working litter? if i could get hold of a pup off working lines id like to try and keep a line of my own in the future to along with my blacks dogs atb with the young ones for the season
