The main thing to do when they have a phantom pregnancy and they start nest making is to break it up and make them uncomfortable,and take anything that they might be using as a surrogate baby away from them,my old Terrier RIP used to get them regular and it is a right pain,but I don't think there is a definitive way to rectify it.....sorry but that is all I know as that worked for me.   15. Put a torch behind the nail and you will be able to see the quick inside,do not cut the quick go a few mm longer and you can rub them down a bit more with a bit of sandpaper. Martin

    Skin it remove all of the meat and then get a skewer and twizzle it about to loosen up the brain,then put it in a saucepan and bring to the boil and then keep it at a roling simmer for about 1/2 an hour then take it out and clean it off totally with a pressure washer,it will be clean then,but it still needs to be bleached then.Use a proprietary brand of hairdressing Peroxide 12% 40vol to bleach it by painting it all over,but don't forget to put it on some newspaper or something. As very soon if not already in places the vixens will be calling,you need to shoot a vixen and then remove her bladder and spray it over a bush where you can get a clear/safe shot,you will get all of the local dog foxes in.Also the old favourite horse hooves boiled up and left to mature and again used in a spray in the same way.
