    I worked as a 'Community Punishment Supervisor'(don't hold it against me) I had been there almost 10 years,and they do have a policy but have totally disregarded it.Wilf,it is Government run,so not a small affair. Martin

    I had a letter from work today(I only work Fri/Sat/Sun/Mon)telling me that I have been dismissed for 'Medical Capability' in other words absenteeism.....I had 1 day for a wisdom tooth taken out,11 days with a broken rib,and 3 days after nearly chopping off my thumb.l've arranged to speak to a solicitor tomorrow as well as sign on.....haven't done that for a very long time!     If you sever the spinal cord,it will finish the deer off,but,it does take time as the brain is still alive as it is being fed with blood,so,you will need to also sever the main arteries by cutting straight and deep across the throat so it fully bleeds out.But,if in doubt a shot to the head will be the answer.     Not sure about the legal side of things over there,but,I would be a little careful shooting any dog,and it would certainly pay(in my opinion)to talk to the local police to make sure of your legal position,cos you could maybe end up losing your cert.As far as the permission is concerned get a map of the land from Google earth and get him to put down his boundries on the map,so anyone that might object at anytime will be able to see the map and the signature of the landowner.Also get him to put all of the quarry that he will allow you to control on the permission as well,oh and good luyck mate.

    The best thing to do when putting a scope onto any rifle is to firstly turn the turrets fully one way,and then count back each click until it comes fully back,this will tell you how many clicks there are in total,so,you then turn it back to the halfway as you know now how many clicks that will be.Do that to both turrets,and the scope is then centrallised,so it will give you the most adjustment.....simples!     If you are signed off by a doctor's offical sicknote your employer can't sack you , if he does you WILL win a tribunal I am still working 'BS' and I have what they call nowadays a 'Fit Note' that says I can work,but not drive,and so far work have given me a driver,but they certainly won't want to do that for another 8 weeks,so watch this space,cos the meeting is Friday...............Martin

    I was at the Hospital today(5hrs)to have the plastercast off only to be told that I won't be able to drive for another 8 weeks!!!!!! To top all of that work are having me on the carpet for being off sick too many times(15 days in the last 16 months) one day after having a wisdom tooth taken out.....11 days with a broken rib,and three days(enforced by management)after cleaving my thumb.One of the outcomes as I have been told could be 'dismissal'......all I feckin' need.I have been told by the Union that they just can't get rid of me,but,I have also been told by a friendly manager(there is one)t

    Remington 700 in .243cal with 'Bell & Carlson' stock and needing some new glass....T8 mod Sako 75 Finlight in .243cal and pes scout mod and topped off with a Zeiss 6-24x56 T* This is the only pic I have of it at the moment....... Oh,and a space on the ticket for a 7mm08 which I would like in a Finlight as well,so if anyone hears of one please give me a nod................Martin
