    Good point there hullhunter that is a big exception. If your selling a dog or pups definitely can't give out address. Or the yard will be empty.

    I would say unless the seller has something to hide they shouldn't have a problem giving there address.So you were definitely not in the wrong. Maybe you should name and shame them.
